Damn! I’ve been looking for a good deal on the DeWalt DCS573B 7.25 Circ saw for a while, and I might have bought it from FastenersInc if they weren’t sold out… BUT buy two 20v batteries for $199 at HD AND get the charger, garbage bag, and the saw FREE!? That’s a friggin’ NO-BRAINER! Thanks for the tip! The Tool Bear didn’t even catch that one! LOL I’ll be picking them up at my local HD after work. w00t!

Thanks for the guide Jim, very useful. I love getting input and opinions from different sources on the current deals. I just picked up the fuel compact router today and Im very pleased with it, much more powerful than the Makita, and has a much,much better depth adjustment. Also scored a "blemished" Ryobi router table for $75 with the direct tool sale this weekend. My wallet is just gonna keep getting lighter the next few weeks,💸💸💸 too many deals
Usually if it starts blowing out dust in the vacuum, there’s a small hole In the filter. Maybe their filter was cheap and when he cleaned it, he may have created a small tear in it

"Makita only has one model of 18V brushless recip…" Yes, the XRJ05Z is the only brushless full sized recip, but the XRJ07ZB is a very capable subcompact, sort of splitting the difference between one-handed recips and full sized models, but performing close enough to full sized models to be option for many people. Fron what I’ve seen, it cuts pretty quickly and very smoothly, but I think it doesn’t have a fully adjustable shoe

I bought the DCD999 kit with the 6ah Flexvolt a few months ago, that 6ah battery is not 21700. 9ah+ are. But they may have updated the 6ah 🤷🏻♂️
Can someone compare the Kobalt against the Skil orbital sander?
Factory authorized outlast has a similar dewalt battery kit on sale but it has the compact 4 ah with 21700 cells instead of the old 4ah

Nice rundown. I might pick up the XR jigsaw hack. As to the drywall screw gun I find the Makita to be the better of the big 3 based on the longevity and the direct drive. I did pick up another DeWalt drywall gun during the summer when they had the 2ah and charger deal because the DeWalt is well worth the $57 that it was at the time.
DeWalt dcd791 & 796 are DeWalt’s premium compact series of drill/driver and hammer drill.
You said to leave a comment concerning the Makita drywall screwgun. So, here it is. It is hands down the most user-friendly screwgun compared to the m18 or Dewalt versions. Dewalt is lighter but only either is on constant run or the user has to pull the trigger for each screw. The m18 has the best runtime (per 2.0ah battery) plus it has push drive. The Makita has the better build quality and ergonomics (compared to the others) plus has push drive and a top-mounted belt clip. When it comes to lifting sheets of drywall, having that screwgun with a screw at the ready and tool clipped onto your belt, is absolutely priceless!! Opened up one of the new looking 6ah FlexVolt. Just 18650 until 9 ah and on then they are 21700
