This is short video series on modifying a block plane I bought on Ebay to work better with the excellent aftermarket Hock block plane blade that fits my old worn out block plane as well.

I feel bad I dissed the blade because since I made this modification video I put that old blade into sharpening spa and it is excellent tool steel with fantastic edge holding properties. So I was not counting on it being so good.
