If you wait on an 0.03 or 0.06 item thinking you have time, you may be very disappointed if the item sells out. Then it is gone. The best thing to do is get it at the 0.06 price and then bring in your receipt if the price drops within 30 days and you will get an adjustment. If it’s a paint purchase, a receipt showing the eligible date of a rebate is needed. If yours is within the past 30 days, we would always do a return for the original purchase and then charge for the paint over again so you can have a sales receipt that will show your purchase during the rebate period. But once the rebate period is over, that’s it. We always tried to help the customer in any way we could but without a sales receipt, our options are severely limited.
Love your deal guy videos
I used Harbor Freight general percent off coupons at HD years ago But it had to be a Tool or similar to what HF carries And also if the coupon said it doesn’t work on an item(IE compressor) HD wouldn’t either.
Wow huge respect to Home Depot 👌🏻👍🏻🙏🏻
You are genius 👍🏻 amazing channel 👍🏻🙏🏻
Thankyou for the information! What does .00 represent?
Yea most stores used to do retroactive pricing. I tried to do it one time at Walmart and the woman was so difficult and treated me like I was doing someone illegal and she would get fired for it. I then just told her fine return the original and I’ll just go buy it again for the cheaper price but she still fought me on it. Had to get ill with the manager for them to finally do it.
Great info! Thanks
PLEASE NOTE: That 10% OFF for the damaged box is only for items under $500 because cashiers are only empowered to give up to $50 as a discount so you’d have to get management involved for any approval on any more than that. Former Cashier @ HD.
Home Depot won’t even price match from their own store !! Clearance item at one store was priced differently at three closest stores and wouldn’t price match!!!
where can I find home depot coupon codes ?
If your orange blooded drop that LDAP
Secrets! Blessed and safe days!
There was a brief flash of this in the video, but no mention (unless I missed it) of the TEN PERCENT discount given to veterans at both Home Depot and Lowes’s. Seven percent of the U.S. population are veterans. As a veteran who uses this frequently, I can testify that it is greatly appreciated. Home Depot makes it a bit easier than Lowe’s, but both give the discount.
Tyhanks, good info, God Bless!
I usually go straight to the clearance section. I actually got some weed killer concentrate for free. The cashier said the item is not in the system so she gave it to me for free! It works well on weeds. I even gave one to my neighbor to share the deal.
Home Depot does Not price match Amazon or any store like Costco, BJs, Sam’s Club (Stores that you pay for membership). Maybe when you did this video they did but they don’t now. I have worked there for a little over 9 months. Also if box is damaged but product isn’t not all Home Depots give you 10% off for box/packaging damage it all depends on the Manager. My old store would my new store doesn’t…now if the product is messed up or has Marks on it or something we definitely will give at least 10% off and sometimes more then 10% depending on the product, the employee and all. We can give up to $50 off without managers appoval.
Where i live Home Depot does things just a little bit different ,,,, they won’t match another store prices but if you
find it cheaper somewhere else they will give you a free foot massage , which is nice but Warning the Manager’s
hands are like ice cubes …
Which store is good for appliances purchases and what time of the year is best to make the purchase? I would appreciate if u make a video about appliance
Thank You!
Sneaky lil bastards
Si siguen ha si los voy ha poner en todas las redes sociales los estoy siguiendo para ver si lo Iguen haciendo
Here in Canada macdonalds takes competitors coupons too
You are amazing❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🌹😍😍😍😍😻👍👍👍👍👍👍
Good morning sir
How do I contact the responsible authority to present a large project?
Fuck you Home Depot you fired me from a $17 position and I’m only 21
Look for the "scrapwood" pile, moat locations mark the wood with purple paint and have a pretty generous markdown, the only thing you have to do is look for the better pieces
I’m going to get HomeDepot to sell cannabis plants.
Could you do a video on how to save in the Garden center? Plants, seeds, dirt…It’s all expensive. Thank you for all you do!
Handsome stuff is poor quality so is the customer service–poor.
I’m also a Home Depot employee. Debit/credit cards or a receipt works at the Forest Lake location. Customers don’t necessarily need a receipt. They can use credit cards or debit cards to show proof of payment.
My husband went into Home Depot a few weeks and and bought a part for the toilet, it was sealed. He brought it out of the store and broke the seal to see if it was the right part. He went back in to return it and they only wanted to return half his money because he didn’t have a receipt. He got the manager and verified he bought it. We went again on Monday and the cashier charged us for two $28.98 boxes of screws. Luckily I check my receipts when I leave stores and I caught it. When I took it back in the cashier said I bought two boxes and I said yes, I bought a large and small box, but you charged me for an extra large box. Another cashier was right there to fix it. I felt like it was a scam. Watch your receipt and keep them our they will only refund half.
we’ve never price-matched online items at my location. online prices are always cheaper because it’s taking out the retail part of things.
Let’s Go Brandon! Why does Home Depot increase the price on products that have been sitting on the shelf for years in the lawn & garden section that has roof coverage, but still outside? Home Depot is basically "China Depot"! The boxes are torn and tattered due to multiple causes e.g. customers, employees and animals. I know the product hasn’t moved in years, but when I decided to make my purchase it was 13% more expensive today, Thursday, March 17, 2022 than it was ten-(10) days ago. I wanted to purchase it 10 days ago, but the aisle were blocked with pallets of other product. I couldn’t bring a cart into the aisle and no help was available to lift a heavy bulky plug aerator. There was no shipping costs, no restocking fees. Home Depot is basically "China Depot"!
Yes make sire to go to customer service for any PERCENTAGE type discounts. The cashiers cant make those calls. The sales asociate cant give a percentage type discount. Cashiers and associate have discount limit of up to $50 per day. And the discount amount has to be within reason reason. Therefore it cant be a percentage because a percentage my be larger than 50. And rhe associate cant authorize that. Plus cant give a 50 buck discount on an item thats 50 bucks. So yeah bring up the big discount ask to customer service. I work there and some customers have made big scenes demanding 10 and 20 percent discounts at the registers or in any given department. Go to customer service please. If you ask me for a discount for a whole in the package , its going to be $5 . Across the board.
I think they stopped matching Amazon because they were doing flash deals that were hemorrhaging the baseline profits. Amazon pulls some bs flash sale and someone comes in and buys something at ridiculously low prices. I don’t think they would match Amazon anymore because it’s fucking impossible with the bullshit low price
Repent Israelites all praise to the most high YAHAWAH AND HIS SON YAHAWASHI🙏🏽🛸🛸🛸🛸🤴🏽🦁⌛️🔥🔥🔥🔥🙏🏽
Thanks for this video, it was very enlightening. I was buying a Sunjoe chainsaw from HD along with some fly traps. They wouldn’t price match Amazon but instead gave me the fly traps for free (which was a greater discount than the Amazon price).
Saving secret number 11. Sign up big projects at the pro desk. If you choose to do a big project, yard face lift, redeco the house, remodel a bathroom, or more… Bring your plans to the pro desk and get a job name/number. Home Depot will lock in your pricing for up to one year on a job. So as prices go up, your pricing remains consistent on the items detailed on your job bid. You do not need to purchase everything on day one, but can spread out your purchases as needed for the completion of your project. If items go on sale, you can always purchase them and NOT mention your project and receive the sale price.
with this new woke policies at the depot, where I worked a few years ago, will prove disasterous for the brand, the term get woke go broke, should start playing out, the people I met while working there are not very woke, most just had a project at home they wanted to finish or needed help with, the big money for the depot is in their corporate accounts, if those people start leaving, that will signal the end of the depot
One of my favorite things to do while working here is find old price tags hidden on the back of shelves.
The oldest tag I’ve found is from October 2001, only a couple years after the store was built.
10:50 it shows 7.56 still works although u said 06? why show 56 tag. i like the video if arranged better like talk about coupons in 1.2.3 and deals in 4.5.6 and so on instead of deals in 4.6.9
Very informative- Tip number 12 should be that both Lowes and Home Depot give Veterans a 10% discount however you need to set it up prior to going to the store via their website and apps. Home Depot used to just verify your veteran status at the checkout but now requires you to use their app where after you have shown proof displays a QR code that you can use at the register. It should be noted you can’t just screen shot the code because the app changes that code on a regular basis., Lowes has a more difficult setup for veteran verification through their website, at least it did last time I looked. Regards and keep up the great work..
Sincerely,
Sergio
So u say that products ending in .06 and .03 r discounted and give u a timeimit to take advantage of but in the video u show price tags ending in different numbers such as .56 or .33 so is that saying we just have to look at the last digit in cents or does the last 2 digits have to be .03 or .06
Could you do a video on Bed, Bath and Beyond?
I wonder if Home Depot pulls the trick of having products that look the same as their competitors but have different model numbers so they don’t need to price match…
If you enjoyed this video, please give it a THUMBS UP and SHARE the video with a friend as it helps me in YouTube algorithm! 😀 What are your tips when it comes to Home Depot?
👇 COMMENT BELOW 👇
Ive worked at their customer service for over a year now and we do not give discounts for the packaging unless the actual product is damaged or missing. But most of what u said correct. Never have price matched other stores coupons though
Thanks 😊
LOL I’ll never let Home Depot deliver another appliance to my home. Every time I have in the past, the delivery service reminds of the 3 stooges, they either drop the appliance, bang it around or scratch it. Then I have to wait another week or two for a returned service. I’ll pick it up my self and inspect the product before it goes on my truck, the workers hate it because I tear apart the crate rite there in the store… sorry I’m not dropping 1500-3 grand of my hard earned money to buy something that is scratched or assembled incorrectly….. not sorry
