This may just be my novice woodworking showing, but how does putting cellophane tape on the first three feet of your tape measure help?

Don’t use soap to ease woodscrews, it will cause corrosion and staining with steel screws, use tallow or candle wax. PVA glue should not be got on your skin, if so wash off immediately, it is considered carsonagenic in some circumstances (can lead to skin cancer), read makers instructions. Nothing new or undocumented many times elsewhere, here.

What’s the point to the match trick at 3:00? What problem does that solve?

  9. Philip Plowman on May 9, 2022 at 7:19 pm

I really don’t find "instructional videos" with no narration or subtitles useful at all. The human mind learns much better and retains the knowledge longer, when both seeing and hearing rhe information at the same time this you missed very Too many small , but imoortant, details are lost.

  10. Carmelina Rosinski on May 9, 2022 at 7:21 pm

I made it too few weeks ago. Want to know how ? just look for Woodprix.

The tape abd jigsaw trick doesn’t always work. Depends on the blade and which side of the plywood you want to use. On the first cut look at the bottom of the cut. Very clean.

A great used of old straws.
I’ll add one…when glueing wood together, toss some salt on the glue and the wood pieces won’t slide when clamping.
