Tip #102: wear a dust mask when in the wood shop. I’ve heard of old carpenters ending up with emphysema from breathing in all that dust over the years.
3:16 Perfect
3:31 lol
I like, but yelling 😖
Love this! Great tips and great personality! New subscriber
Doesn’t the wax interfere with staining the wood later? And putting poly on?
Awesome tips! Great sense of humor! 👍🏼
The tips are great but his verbal delivery is too cute by a half. You need to speak slower and with more purpose. The lead-in word/phrase needs to be a bit slower with better enunciation. Speech is sometimes slurred and some tips need a bit more description.
Loved it. What a fantastic weirdo. 🙂
lame for sure
some good tips there Mr
great vid subbed and loved
Sorry dude , NASA didn’t invent velcro.
Some great tips in there, thank you 🙂
Weird, very weird goofy guy. Can’t understand him because he’s childish act is distracting. But, i’m sure he knows about carpentry.
Lmao an extra slice of pizza will make your body clamp work better. Love the dad humor
Great work, keep it up
Thanks a bunch Shawn, you really are an awesome, awesome teacher for someone like me trying to dabble into it. Love your channel. Learn a lot. God bless you.
I’m having hard time imagining a more annoying and more useless video! Good Job!
What kind of Wax was he using?
I think I’m in love. You’re the most adorable and effective teacher on this site.
#21 Are you bombed? Or did you just get back from the dentist? Slow down, you’ll have less mush-mouth and people will be able to understand you!
Since when did NASA invent Velcro?
At age 70 I’ve learned more in 17:29 than in a few years. These are great tips and I appreciate the effort –amount of work– that you put into making this video. Thank you. But of the close-ups, if you’re going to get this close to me I need you to shave. Several tips made me play them four or five times so I could understand what you said. I couldn’t write fast enough to keep up with you and I don’t want to fail the course. My only request is that the next time you set up your lathe in the middle of the street, please have your daughter put on a hair net, remove her long sleeve coat, and watch out for traffic. She’s a sweetheart and Daddy’s girl.
Absolutely loved this video, funny and informative.
wax on wax off:D
simple is best,thanks
I like the video, but there was WAY too much sound volume differences often throughout it. I can’t stand having to turn my volume down and up hundreds of times during one one hour or less video by a big amount. I won’t thumbs down it, but hopefully this is something you’ve already noticed or been told about and fixed in current videos.
Awesome super funny
youre pretty funny.. i enjoyed the video.. and there was that one tidbit that i thought would be really helpful but after the rest of it.. ive forgotten what it was : D
#44 is it a certain type of wax? Or any wax?
Great tips, but please slow down when talking.
i love 49
first you said: do not spend al your money on high end wood if you gonna paint it but in tip 93 you said do not spend all that money on paint if you use nice wood… but nice video 😀

Great tips, no need for humour tho
Ha ha Absolutely brilliant…………Some amazing tips there : )
That was entertaining. Good work.
Love these
Very fast,,im like you
Love the video one comical flaw I found with wax. My shop is a non climate controlled garage used wax on my lathe bed on a hot summer day. The next day my tail stock was stuck in place
thank you . i used starrett measuring tools back in my machinist days(70-80) and i still got em i use em to check my other rules . loved the info
I hate that I like you and your corky style.. The fact that you forgot more than I will ever know about woodworking is fantastic. Glad I found you….
This is my chisel. There are many like it but this one is mine. 💪
Thanks -great job! I’m just starting out so I found most everything useful.
Lol awesome video, subbed half way through 😀
