If you had made your blocks and wedges taller you could have gotten better pressure at the top of your box for an even better hold. Thanks for the tips.
Thank you🙌🏻
Great Tips!
Great tips. Try harbor freight for inexpensive clamps especially with the rubberized handle which are easy to tighten
Great tips. I have your bandsaw box book but didn’t connect that it’s you. Just found your channel. Thanks.

Hi. I am from Brazil and I would like to know how I could by your books. Thank you in advance. Jossy Dornelles.
Merci !
I wish I could do more than one click on the "like" button. Who are the people hitting the "thumbs down" ???? Great video, I will use this video over and over.
Why does that shirt looks so familiar?!? I think I had the same one years ago.
Iron-on veneer tip…like, save (dedicated playlist), comment, do. Great tip, haven’t seen that one yet. Thanks a bunch.
How do you keep saw dust and wood chips out of your drink? I have the bandsaw book and it’s really great and an accidental money maker. I made a few bandsaw boxes for some friends as presents, people saw them and the orders started coming in. I use pallet wood and your book with a used HF Bandsaw and can built them for next to nothing. Thanks and keep up the good work.
I’ve had a few failed joints over my lifetime, but never because of wet rags, rather wet nags…..lol
Really this video should be sponsored by…(some blue tape company)
Love your LGBTQ themed shop colors
Great Tips! Recently,, I had to hold down some small blocks of wood to rout recesses in them. I had no awareness of the wedge method you show, but came up with exactly the same thing. I made rectangles out of scrap to fit the small wood blocks, but on two sides attached the scrap wood at an angle for the shims. Back in colonial days, and later, they didn’t have our modern clamps. They made do with solutions such as using wedges. There is a video on YouTube that shows how to make a jig for cutting shims on the table saw. Saved me a lot of money and trips to HD to buy them.
The jigsaw tip with the foam is a very expensive tip
Great tips! I found you, Bob and Jimmy separately. To find the 3 of you on the same podcast is incredible!
Don’t cut in to insulation foam, unless you want to buy new blades every two minutes.!
👏👌
Very cool tricks. I have a gap in my shelf I’m making but it’s a shelf within a shelf. It’ll be hard to sand. I’ll try the glue trick. Thank you.
Great tips. Thanks.
please subtitle in Latin American Spanish
Very good stuff, thank you! Nice jigsaw btw, I have the same one.
Man if there is one woodworker that I hope succeeds and gets huge, it’s you. I’ve been a fan for a while and the fact that you went from web design into woodworking is a great success story and gives me hope that as a software engineer I can let learn and grow in woodworking. For real, love your stuff, I have your band saw book and I don’t even have a band saw yet I’m such a fan. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing your knowledge and journey, it’s cool to watch.
Nice tips
These are all practical help. Thank you for teaching us, who don’t do this often. It makes projects feel a bit less intimidating.
You rascal! That segmented bowl tip solved my problem completely!
Just found your channel today and I’m absolutely loving it.
Brilliant video…makes me feel more confident.
Much appreciated.
Glue won’t be strong enough for the mitre? Are you nucking futs? The wood will break before the glue.
tell me more about the bourbon finish , a data sheet or something like that just to answer the wifes questions
Is your table saw on a foot pedal or something? How did it turn on and off while your hands were above the table top
New sub here. Thanks for sharing these great tips. I look forward to future content.
I didn’t know yiu could use any super glue with the Ca activator. I thought it was a special glue. Love these tips .

Hey Dave. Sad news, did you hear wood Jesus Rob cosman sadly got his speed dovetail record obliterated from Matt estlea who challenged any woodworker to beat it. Now we’re putting together a top secret team of woodworkers to try and beat it. Are you man enough for the challenge!
