clean the copper ring on the end of the shaft replace carbon brushes and repurpose it for a scroll saw.

Great review! I bought one yesterday. They are always sold out at the local Walmart. I’m glad that it fits both types of blades! Thanks for posting the video!!! 👍🏻

I’ve been doing a bunch of remodeling work for an art gallery and Walmart’s Hyper Tough stuff has been keeping it on budget and gets the job done. I almost bought their cordless jigsaw today but ended up with just a handsaw (small job). Now I’m wishing I would have grabbed this guy instead.

I’ll be dang, the case DOES fit perfectly! Ha! How lucky is that? Now you’ll have to find some free online plans for making some wooden garden projects. You don’t have any excuses now, LOL. (Maybe a bat house or purple martin condominium with flames painted on it?) Nice video to put out just as people are getting excited about their new spring projects. Thanks!

The only thing wrong was the carbon brushes you could’ve replaced those they were too short to be effective.

How do you keep the blade from falling out? Brand new saw, can’t use, blade falls out no matter what I do.

  11. Losfirstduty on January 2, 2022 at 10:13 pm

I’ve been using my Hyper Tough electric saw for over 5 months with no issues. Made everything from wood wrench holders, cuts for blanket ladders rungs, circular holes for speakers going in speaker boxes, etc. Got some good blades and works great. Thanks for the video!

  12. David Gann on January 2, 2022 at 10:15 pm

I can’t get the blade to stay in the jigsaw to cut anything. Any suggestions on getting the blade seated correctly? Thanks!

  13. Johny Silver on January 2, 2022 at 10:17 pm

    Is there hight adjustment?

  14. JOATMON on January 2, 2022 at 10:18 pm

Just bought one and the blade comes out every time I try to cut. Blade seems to be in there as I can’t pull it out, however it comes right out with any cut.

I have a similar cheap jigsaw, i bought it for 25Euro. It’s a German made. It’s Fantastic! Does the job for me! Of course if you are a professional it might not be the best tool, but for anyone who might have to work with wood, or for crafting, hobby, these cheap ones are the best!

  20. Snake Bakon on January 2, 2022 at 10:25 pm

Can you adjust the depth? Please reply because I have these at my local Walmart on clearance from Black Friday

  21. RadRich on January 2, 2022 at 10:30 pm

It served it’s purpose and did so very well over the years I would imagine.

  22. ELynd on January 2, 2022 at 10:31 pm

You actually helped solve the mystery of what cheap jigsaw im gonna buy! Harbor Freight was entirely sold out

    grate review, thank you

  24. ElKabong61 on January 2, 2022 at 10:36 pm

Great design, but real cheap parts. The hole in the cog got "warped"–no longer a circular hole, so it wiggled around instead of turning smoothly and really can’t be fixed. Scrapping for parts. Will spend more next time as it’s a useful tool and I’ll want a good one.

  25. Antwan Platt on January 2, 2022 at 10:37 pm

I always go with higher quality tools. I prefer Milwaukee, but my jig hasn’t worked and I needed to work on a project. I was in a pinch and went to Walmart, they had this jig on clearance, I got it for a whopping $8.92. best $9 ever spent.

I spent 70 on a drill from amazon and it caught on fire. I bought a 30 dollar drill and it doesn’t fail..lesson is don’t sleep on Walmart’s tool section
