Any news on this new Hercules saw. Just picked up the old one on clearance with 20% discount for $280 so think I got a good deal. However the rack and pinion does make the new one quite attractive.
Saw the Warrior table saw yesterday. Was $150.
I’m done with HF power tools. The prices are in line with major manufacturers but the warranty is not.
A table saw is 300+ dollars with a 90 day warranty, several major brands are within 30 dollars and have similar features and 3 year and in one case lifetime.
So my question is, why pay so much for a tool that doesn’t have any warranty to speak of?

Bear, today I killed my Hercules Table saw and my warranty is out. Any idea how soon. This new 1 will be arriving at HB? The current table saws are on clearance and the clearance price sucks! I really liked my table saw but would enjoy the rack n pinion version. If it will be more than a month I’ll repeat buy the 1 I currently have. I am dead in the water right now.

I purchased the Warriorā¦ hahahahaha!! What a total piece of junk. Iāve seen better plastic used on a hot wheel track. I took it right back to Harbor freight. I bought the Ryobi table saw that came with its own stand, has metal gears a instead of the Warrior plastic gears that raise the blade and actually seems like a real tool unlike the Warrior.

I haven’t gotten notifications for ANY of my 38 subscriptions since they stopped sending emails about 6 months ago. I did see a "dot" next to the channel in my Subscriptions list of channels, so I could go there to their home page and find the new videos. Then, one day I discovered if I selected Subscriptions in the top of the home toolbar (Home, Trending, Subscriptions – top section) all the new videos for all my subscriptions are listed in released order. That is the only way I’ve found to keep up to date on my channels and view the latest.
Nope, NO notifications at all, except as discussed above.
I received a notice for this video, but when it opened, it no longer indicated that I was subscribed.

So, it’s later in the year. I am shocked…SHOCKED that Harbor Freight hasn’t brought out the Admiral table saw yet. Crossing my fingers we’ll hear about this in the next week and a half!

Myself, the rack n’ pinion type is the ONLY way to go! I just subscribed and asked for notifications. I’ve had no problems finding your newer vids. I am in the market for a table saw and I think I will be going with the herc. I did get the herc mitresaw and am hugely pleased with it. I will have to make a trip over to HFand check out the fence on the ‘old’ table herc so i can compare it to the new one. I did check out several jobsite saws in other brands and was stunned by the poor and inaccurate workmanship on some of them as well as the sloppy loose fences.
I am a new woodworker who has struggles with heavy circular saws and inaccurate cuts so I really don’t need a tool wwhich contributes to more of that . I need to be able to set the tool and come out with the right results. Just lifting the wood to feed the saw is going to be enough of a challenge. I need all the help I can get!š

Back in August YT stopped notifications. Phasing them out slowly unless you have their phone app. I get nothing from anyone via email.
I did get notified via my phone through the youtube app. I’m set to personalized notifications for uploads. I can’t recall having an issue at all. Thanks!

I just bought the new Hercules table saw with rack and pinion and I’m very happy. I adjusted the measure window to 1" by cutting some oak board until it was exactly 1" using a vernier. I then cut a 1" strip from a 24" long piece of birch plywood. One end was 1.0250 and the other was 1.0450. Not too bad for a $349.00 contractor saw!

Hi Red. I have Premium YouTube and no longer see any bell option that signs us up for notifications, but I do see a new "Join" option to purchase further access to your channel. Its like they are trying to get us back from Patreon as well. How can we (YouTube content consumers) voice our disdain for this YouTuber abuse? It seems they have ways to undermine anything we do. I wouldn’t be surprised if they ban content creators with Patreon accounts soon. After writing this, I realize that the reason I didnt see the bell icon was because I wasn’t subscribed anymore!! I most definitely did not unsub this channel! I don’t think I’ve ever unsubbed any channel on purpose. So now we have evidence of some trickery. I’d be curious to know if this was anyone else’s experience. Also, can’t help but wonder if Black and Yellow has their hands in this…

Finally saw the new saws. That Warrior is complete garbage. The fence is chincy, with a plastic lock down handle. Also the new Miter saw from Bauer has super loose detents and way too much side to side blade movement. They are not worth it.
