I had to watch this for my daughter’s wooden bed frame panels (12) we’re going to be thrown away; and I can’t do that. I know they can be put to some use. That’s a smart idea holding in them corners when gluing that triangle.

I found great plans on the Stodoys website. I think this is a good solution for everyone.

Kobalt router table from Lowes is only 170. Comes with a 2 hp router. I know 170 might be a decent chunk but it’s cheaper than the alternatives. 🙂

Anyone with the proper equipment can definitely give this a try, also you might wanna know that there are quite a few neat projects you can get by go’ogling Woody Hyezmar’s Woodworking Bible (before it’s published).

" The first gift idea used 1 x 4 scraps from my garage". I see a full new length of lumber and the first cut is to remove the barcode / price of that piece of "scrap". Make the project by all means but not sure why you are underplaying what’s actually going on. That 3 point jig to line up the triangle took a bit of working out and didn’t happen by accident

Why did I think about finger injuries this whole video? OSHA will not be happy
    😂

I love the triangle, it can be used to make Pool Table Triangles. Nice job.

Nice! I really like the triangle piece and I think the pieces used to hold them in place during the glue up are a great idea. Thanks for sharing!

Just curious: Why does the phone holder need two notches?

You’re pretty awesome. You explain very well. You should be much bigger on YouTube than you are

I love that it was indeed small (easy) projects. Love the phone-holding-device. I also like the shelf, but how Do you hang it on the Wall.

Mate, you can extend your bench & secure your router underneath. There’s YouTube videos for it.

Hey from Tasmania, I use huge rubber bands as clamps for projects like this. I have also make really big ‘clamps’ from 40mm (1 3/4") dressmaking elastic. For the lazy one like me. Although I do use epoxy glues.

Had a teacher in 10th grade lose two and a half fingers on a shaper while I was 12 feet from him at the time( high powered router table). The board kicked out and his fingers went straight into the spinning cutter head. Please, please, please get a wooden handscrew clamp and have it hold the piece that you are routing something like you did in this video. We all do things we shouldn’t do at times in the workshop, but we should all try to make it as safe as we possible can. I really like your clamps for the triangle shelves, good solution to the problem.

Good quick win projects too, if you need something to break up the monotony of a big project.
