The pencil mark doesn’t necessarily remove swirl marks. It’s to make sure it’s fully sanded

Hey John what are the air cooled respirator helmet things you guys use. I was trying to go back and find the video you guys introduced them to the channel but couldn’t figure out which one. Thanks in advance

How does it remove swirl marks?? It’s so you don’t sand one area too much

But how do you eliminate squirrel marks?

  10. Eef VanIersel on October 29, 2023 at 10:17 pm

Hey, you may also want to consider that swirl marks are often caused by a grain or two of the previous larger grit left on the surface of the work. Brush off between grits.

Full crap John you should never jump more than 20 grits per desk anything more than 40 you’re definitely going to have extra swirl marks you know the pulling the Dust Away with the vacuum thing yeah that does help a little bit mark it with a pencil bro you should be able to freaking figure that s*** out on your own

Or, do real pro work and learn to use hand planes and srapers. Then the only sanding you’ll do is to lightly rough up the surface to accept a finish.
