So interesting and fun to watch! I want to watch every moment instead of speeding through. More like this please!

  9. Juliet Phillips on July 18, 2023 at 2:56 pm

That’s a great idea to come up with something new…it shows progress and moving forward, which is always positive. A name, maybe, "Jon, Jeff and Rob Woodworking." Simple and to the point.

  10. Peter on July 18, 2023 at 3:00 pm

The woodworking classes is an awesome idea! Any long format step by step with some in-depth tips would be very interesting from you three. Let get this going!

Spring tools are the best. Those are made five miles from my house. Spokane, WA. They also have a bigger one for popping door hinge pins.

  12. Dan Yodice on July 18, 2023 at 3:02 pm

Jon I have been waiting for the woodworking classes from you. I have made some of your picture frames and have had success but I would like to learn more secrets of the trade so to speak. Rob and Jeff do amazing projects so I’m in on the new Collab. JP in the streets woodworking could be a name…🤘🤘

I would love to learn, bring us through the design phase and brainstorming too.

I introduced my painter friend 10 years ago, and he bought the spring nail set for every one of his 30 guys, the most important aspect is that you don’t have the chance of guys dropping hammers causing collateral damage. Best painter in Northern Ocean/ Southern Monmouth county. Best cheapest tool I’ve bought is the Fastcap reveal/ scribe, has 8 different reveals built into one little piece of plastic, about the size of a playing card.

I enjoy this type of video. Thanks for sharing

I totally agree with Jeff’s comments about accuracy. I recently came across a saying that I think comes from aviation…TLAR That Looks About Right. “Saturday In The Shop”

their is nothing new about a olfa knife, i have lots of them at home. use to be free issue on job sites until some people were to dumb to retract the blade. but i am from canada.

Good choice on the Orfa cutting blade! I really like mine. I got mine at Lowe’s.

  22. Glenn M on July 18, 2023 at 3:33 pm

I bought a spring nail set in fall 2022. Great tool to sink finish/brad nails when they don’t fully go into the material.

  23. Desi Bravo on July 18, 2023 at 3:37 pm

Use a nail set and hammer it in best way

  24. shakymemories on July 18, 2023 at 3:39 pm

the three of you have great banter and interactions, and more importantly, you are all credible! thanks for sharing your knowledge with the world

Hola Señor Peters. Espero sus clases de carpintería. Espero realizar sus proyectos con las pocas herramientas que poseo. Saludes a los tres desde Nicaragua. Dios lo bendiga a usted a su nación.

Spring nail set sells at Ace Hardware for $13!

  27. jimfromri on July 18, 2023 at 3:42 pm

I agree with the spring nail set. It’s not something I use every day but for certain tasks it’s very handy. I discovered the Olfa-style snap blade knives about a year ago and they’ve definitely earned a spot in my apron. Used every day for so many tasks. I like how far the blade can be extended.

  28. Tom Cordio on July 18, 2023 at 3:42 pm

I have one and love it. My personal tip for using it is to make more shorter spring pulls rather than overstretching the spring to try to set the nail. You’re more likely to miss the nailhead when you over pull the spring.

  29. Sattva Woodworks on July 18, 2023 at 3:43 pm

I found that spring nail set by accident a few years back. Hands down 100% better than a punch.
