Hi can you tell me what is te finish ting that you are using at the end of the video , thanks
Hello! I’m new to woodwork and would like to know the name of the tool used for cutting out the template for the 2nd project?
I learned so much more than I came here for
You should make tutorials
Personally, the very entertaining "Baaaaahhhhh" sounds are much preferable to the sound of a router. I think this should be incorporated from now on in your videos. You could mix it up a little as well. Maybe a cow mooooooh for a miter cut. Seriously. Entertainment meets woodworking education. Excellent!
Good video! Do you have a template for the serving dish or do I draw that up?
Good Morning,
I know this was made years ago, I am ready to make a few projects, do you have a good source for the template print outs, or do you have any copies we can get from you?
Thank you for the great information, inspiration, and video.
LY
I want to thank you for being the inspiration and instructor that you are, being a soon to retire firefighter I have gotten into very amateur level wood working and watching your videos I have increased my abilities beyond what I even expected. So thank you! Keep up sharing your videos as they are very helpful to us weekend wood workers!
Love the music please along with the recordings please play mor music like this
What’s the bit called you used in drill press?
Love the choice of music. I like the look of the bowls
I thumbs up for the animals more goats pls
very efficiently explained – you are to be commended
And a million other tools! 🤣 Amazing stuff tho dude! 👏
where do you find that much scrap walnut. In Oz they charge like a wounded bull bull for that much walnut, and gum tree is good for nothing.
I have looked on your website for the chips and salsa bowl template. Where can it be found? I would love to make a few for my family
Ok so i need a entire shop and a router.
I’m a new woodworker. He has a fixed based. So to start the cut in the middle of the project do you kinda just plunge it down into your piece? kind of like your drilling with whatever bit you have?
All nice and great but dude please slow down a little bit. The video could easily last twenty minutes or even longer if you ask me.
Question…. I have bad problems with wood burn. Not sure what I’m doing.. I’ve tried taking smaller cuts which helps some but I noticed in the video the cuts were up to 1/4" per pass and I am doing a lot less than that. Is it a bit issue (dull or low quality), or could it be the build up of shavings causing it? I am routing out a smallish area and the router base covers 90% of the opening so the shavings are trapped. I’m sure you know what a MAJOR pain in the arse it is sanding burn marks in the corners and rounded edges in a small tray. Can’t use a sander so it all has to be done by hand, really by finger(s).
Dude I’m going to make something!! Really enjoy your channel
Cutting such small pieces on the table saw, with fingers so close to the blade is a recipe for disaster. Not worth the loss of a couple digits to save 50 cents in wood.
Hi there, awesome projects. Could you give a link for the mentioned router but extender for deeper cuts? Thanks
Great video.. will definitely make some of these…. Anyone know what is the product Dave put on the bowl at 8:05 please ? Also keen to know where I can get the bowl template from ?

Nice what finish did you use?
I’m trying to gather the supplies for this. What thicknesses of acrylic sheet do you recommend for the baseplate?
Thanks!
7:12 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hey, what size hole did you cut into the acrylic for your bowl bit?
This was exactly the video I needed for a project I’m working on. Thank you
The chips and salsa bowl… do you by chance remember where you found the template?
trying to build my own salt well and wondering whats a good food grade wax or sealer. I figured you took that into account while building the chip bowl
What did he use to coat the bowls at the end? Like some bees wax? Mineral oil? Also does wood glue without brads actually work like that?? No way. What kind? Also food safe? I imagine bot dishwasher safe, but that’s ok.
How does the template work for you when the barreling is on the bottom of the bit or is that a different fit besides the ones that come with a router
Very Nice
What was the finish that you used?
Mahaha mahaha
Should have made the bowl portions a bit larger and not cut away the outer edge(seems like such a waste of nice wood)(referring to the first bowl)
What the F,Goat sounds! Lol No really good show.
David, awesome project you’ve got me hooked on building bowls! Where did you buy the sander for the bowl interiors?
at 7:54 what do you use for polishing ?
Thank You for the video, but IMHO You can improve something. You should have a suction system for the router chips so You can see where You cut; the mask can help , but it’s not enough; some ventilation for small particles is necessary too… and, sorry, I’m a nuisance for safety, Your hands are much too near the saw blade spinning at 5:46, cutting the segments. You should use a clamp. I understand You are confident, but since many are watching Your videos, I think It’s important to convey the right message about safety in the shop.
2:57 “And it’s messy as AF”
animal noises are hilarious great ideas guys
Hmmm.. Square space… owned by twitter I think…
"How to make a bowl with a router"….then uses a bandsaw!
I did it with the Woodbex plans.
That goat sounds are awesome dude..loved it😄😄😄😂😂😂
The title says router projects but he uses a planner, band saw, miter saw then the router…. great title lol
What finish did you use on the chip and dip bowl? Awesome projects by the way.
