Brad, you’re back palm is better than mine. Nicely done.
I think your thickness measurements might be askew. But great video.
Rounders reference put this video over the top 👏
10 mm cards? Those are som mightily thick cards you’ve got there, mate.
Are you wearing a Pebble watch?
Great tips and video work! Thanks.
Royal Flush 10mm thick boi playing cards! I think you might be off by a factor 🙂
You rock! this was awesome info.
All of these ideas are brilliant, Brad! And thanks for mentioning seejanedrill. Ther channel is fantastic for beginners and seasoned diyers alike. (But even HER name is actually Leah. 😉)
Enjoyed the video, well done . Provided good info and something I can use.
Great👏👏🙏🙏❤❤❤
I’m a woodworking and dabble in magic – you did a great job on all your performances man <3
Good tips. The "contortionist" trick for sanding was not one I would have thought to try.
Great video
The most common card trick. Glue scraper.
hilarious presentation…..but seriously good ideas. Well done sir.
Great video!
Fantastic video! Thanks for the tips!
Mind blown. Like, for real. These are some the best and most useful tips I’ve come across since getting into wood working. Chef’s kiss, Brad. 👏 👏 👏
I’ve also used a card as a spacer for attaching the hinge side of door-stop to keep the door from rubbing and squeaking.
Great video
Great tips!
I like using cards to micro adjust stop blocks:
If it needs to move out I’ll put the material up against the stop, loosen the stop, put a card in between and then set the stop. Then i can remove the card and put the material back up against the stop.
If it needs to move in I’ll put a card between the material and stop, loosen the stop while holding the material firmly, remove the card, loosen the stop, move it to the material and set it there.
Hope all that made sense and didn’t turn into big blobs of words!
With the metric system you don’t have this problem 😂
Great tips, now I know what to use those old playing cards for.
Kids, donot try those at home
Cool. Love the channel. Like to do a sticker swap with you to put on my board in my work shop.
Had that problem with the flush cuts, love this idea!
And in my club, I will splash the pot whenever the f*** I please.
Love it!
Do you mean 10 millimeters when you say ‘10 mils’?
Because 0.010” certainly isn’t equal to 10 millimeters…
Ace of Spacers for sure. Love it!
I had to stop and rewind the video to check if you were really doing the card tricks or if it was some fancy editing. Good work combining two really fun crafts.
Never thought to use the cards to bump my stopping block…this would have saved me sooo much heartburn. Thanks!
Thank you!
Hey, we are missing your videos! Are you ok? Looking forward to seeing your next project.
Really liked 4 of the 5.
On the contour sanding, I think a dowel approximately the size of the cove would provide much more consistent sanding. You’d have to get some “hot spots” with the cards.
Saw the video just a couple days ago, used the card shim trick today to better align a drawer slide. Thanks!
That was a fun video Brad! I used to have the same problem with flush cut saws leaving marks until I bought a Gyokucho. Great saw
i enjoyed the card tricks! from your new friends from Ireland 🇮🇪
Great info and very entertaining…but don’t give up your day job! Haha
Deck of cards found a new home tonight. Cheers
That was as good as anything I have seen in a long time, your the greatest thing since the beginning.
Brad, these tricks are great~!! Well, the ones for the shop, that is. 😏 I really like the one for sneaking up on a cut on the crosscut sled. Thanks much for this one~!
Thanks mate 👍🇦🇺
Thank you for the cool tips and (card) tricks. 🃏 👍🏽
I come here for the tips and stay for the jokes and magic show. 😃 loved the use of the card for sneaking up on a cut. Genius! And I love seejanedrill, glad to know others do as well!
You should do a video about tick sticks !
I really enjoyed this video!
Well done!
Nice snap change!
I use cards on my thin stock planning jig, placed under the stock to lift it up so I can sneak up on the thickness I want if it’s less than the thickness of my jig.
