Спасибо за хорошую подачу материала 👍 Получился отличный набор для кухни ❤

Wait — whaaat? My favourite speakers are 50ish cm tall mini towers made of 20mm red oak material. I finished them with (several, I don’t remember how many) layers of shellac, and they have a wonderful deep red brown almost burry type texture that simmers in sunlight. I wish I could post pictures in comments, but anyway, I can’t believe you felt the need to stain yours black… in fairness yours did look like some particularly white red oak…

  3. mellowfellow9 on April 18, 2022 at 6:11 pm

@8:00 you already have ‘feet’ for the tray. those half circle off cuts! Yeah, they are a little chunky but at least you didn’t have to buy anything 😛

  4. Ryan Wildman on April 18, 2022 at 6:14 pm

Great projects! Silly question, what did you use to finish each project?

  5. 和也塚本 on April 18, 2022 at 6:15 pm

    👍👍👍👍👍😍

  6. Serkan on April 18, 2022 at 6:16 pm

    Bravo porfek

  7. Andrew M Yasso on April 18, 2022 at 6:17 pm

I tried making the octagon serving tray, and failed miserably. But it was really fun, and I think I’m going to give it a second go with some of the things I learned.

  9. Winter Soldier on April 18, 2022 at 6:21 pm

Love the projects! Could use the leftover walnut half circles for handles on a tray. 🤔

  10. Nick Magma on April 18, 2022 at 6:23 pm

The glue issue with the scoop may have been the fault of the glue itself. I´ve heard blacktail studios say you should only use TB Original for walnut

  11. Robert Ituarte on April 18, 2022 at 6:26 pm

Tamar – Thanks for creating such beautiful and practical pieces. I enjoy seeing your techniques and ideas for inspiration on my own projects. I’ve used some portions of your designs in the past to test my abilities and tools to create my own pieces. Looking forward to experimenting and testing my abilities by creating a cheese, cracker, baguette cutting and mini knife block tray using magnets. Have a great and safe Christmas/New Year celebration.

  12. Darin on April 18, 2022 at 6:28 pm

    thanks

  13. George Bedsaul on April 18, 2022 at 6:35 pm

To cut angled baguettes, pick a cut on one side and one several spaces down on the other. Set your guide to match that angle and add those cuts with the saw.

  14. ElCidPhysics90 on April 18, 2022 at 6:37 pm

What application do you use for making the paper templates?

  15. Kerry Davies on April 18, 2022 at 6:38 pm

Thank you for the amazing Christmas ideas. Keep up the inspiring work. Merry Christmas

  16. Edu Ferrone on April 18, 2022 at 6:38 pm

  23. Cat Gynt on April 18, 2022 at 6:44 pm

I do not know what you pay for your wood blanks, but I saw this video and thought of your channel. Perhaps there is an opportunity for you to reduce your costs and score some great wood resources. https://youtu.be/wV2PX7ZboNY Enjoy and learn things

  24. versatile duplicity on April 18, 2022 at 6:45 pm

    16:12 wow, I love it 😍

  25. LewHarriman on April 18, 2022 at 6:46 pm

For the "future feet" of the serving tray; perhaps ½" lengths of ½" diameter walnut dowels – offcuts from your knife block project. (or simply square dowels) Then glue thin cork disks or squares to the ends that contact the table? Yeah, I know… no cork sheeting on hand for this project. But for the future, it’s available in rolls at any Ace hardware store and it’s great, great stuff for firm-yet-gentle feet.

  26. ralph jurgen on April 18, 2022 at 6:46 pm

these holiday gift ideas are only for people you like… for the rest they can get generic gifts like socks 🙂

  29. Alexander Wardrope on April 18, 2022 at 6:51 pm

    Simple, haven’t got any machines?

  30. Werner Goos on April 18, 2022 at 6:52 pm

So simple, and you use up what laying around, at first I thought the baguette tray was Ebony, which would be very cool especially with some Padouk or Zebrawood, maybe a project for something else 😉

  31. moises luna on April 18, 2022 at 6:52 pm

    Perfección

  32. MrJh66sh on April 18, 2022 at 6:54 pm

As always..great projects Tamar..those nitty bitty thinking of yours makes your viewers drop their jaws😃

  37. Seema Hejazi on April 18, 2022 at 6:57 pm

Have you considered getting into puzzle making? Your work is so clean, I think you’d kick ass at it!

  38. 479kdk on April 18, 2022 at 6:57 pm

great work but if you have access or own all of these tools, you’re probably not looking for "easy" projects

  39. Kekoa Kawakami on April 18, 2022 at 6:58 pm

Nice upload! Maybe it’s just my bah humbugness but these gift idea videos that have felt increasingly repetitive and dull but I found these projects surprisingly unique and creative..

But here’s a condensed version of the directions for each project in case you’re in a rush and even more of a Scrooge than me..

Project 1: past template, rough cut then flush trim with router..

Project 2: past template, rough cut then flush trim with router..

Project 3: past template, rough cut then flush trim with router..

Project 4: past template, rough cut then flush trim with router..

Project 5: past template, rough cut then flush trim with router..

Haha but seriously, don’t be a jerk and just watch the video… it stands out in a group of videos where it isn’t easy to do so and is by a creator who’s worth supporting..

    Respect!!

  40. Duncan on April 18, 2022 at 6:59 pm

Fun video. What finish do you recommend that is suitable for food service (including washing up afterward), eg, on that cracker tray? Thanks.

  41. Ron Miller on April 18, 2022 at 7:01 pm

Very nice builds. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and tips.

  42. Doug White on April 18, 2022 at 7:01 pm

I love the tray and have pieces cut using your suggested thick start (1.9" cherry for me). I am really struggling to figure out the "hog out the center" part. Does your bull nose bit have a bearing to use against the template? How would you continue going deeper – like 1-1/4"? Is the preference to use a guide bushing with a straight bit to get the inside started (multiple passes to get as deep as I can with that bit)? I am struggling to understand how I will use a template or guide for that bullnose at the bottom. Any thoughts/help is appreciated.

  43. Kakarot Jone on April 18, 2022 at 7:02 pm
