  3. Nathan Cunningham on December 27, 2021 at 8:06 pm

I’ve watched a lot of videos like this from other channels on YouTube and honestly this was by far the most thorough and helpful one I’ve seen yet. I’m further along in my “woodworking journey” but I still like to watch these to see if there’s something I missed that may be useful. But I really wish I would’ve seen this video first. I love you talked about even the accessories and what to look for in terms of specific features. You’ve earned a follow after just one video. Hope the rest of your content is just as good 😌

I think this are the tools that you eventually will get but not all are necessary i put them in a list:
1-drill (u don’t really need an impact driver but it would make ur life easier
    2-circular saw
    3- orbit sander
    4- jig saw
    5- router

p.s : swap the circular saw with the jig saw if you are doing mainly small decorative projects
    I hope this is helpful

Is there any way to do any of this for cheaper? This is several hundred dollars worth of equipment just to start out, even on Amazon.

Not gonna lie I thought this was gonna be another bias sponsored video saying, the sponsors product is unmatched. I just started weekend wood working and had friends bring their “higher end power tools” showing me “you get what you pay for “. Besides a couple of little differences in styles, brand name and maybe the cordless part 😂 besides that. Corded out lasted both 20v. All three made nice clean cuts. Don’t let these other sponsored videos make you feel like you have to pay 💴💴💴 to get a good circular saw

Neville Longbottom came a long way. Thanks !

  22. Castleknight on December 27, 2021 at 8:33 pm

Your sander wasn’t battery powered; do you prefer a corded electric sander over a battery powered one?

  23. Nico Briones on December 27, 2021 at 8:33 pm

    A very good tools ..

  24. A View Through My Eyes on December 27, 2021 at 8:34 pm

Power tools ,I have a low expectations on power tools Bru when you are up high and you have to come down to change the battery a typical case of mercury law and time is money and in most cases takes time to change and I could havep put in three screws and not thinking about of you moving up and down the ladders and we trip, and no work no pay,a good your battery llllpppidea will be a Bluetooth app that recharges . Don’t let me put you down sisters and brothers, your done tons of perfect stuff and heres a few, putting out stop signs, help your neighbours fix there roten floor which they coud have falling through and put them in hospital and who would on made their launches for school and not talking about the bills, the best hero in ecistand is not the one with the fame but the one that only God and he nows,,so to carry on hero because you safed more people that what all the wars concides, ,,, HEROS ARE NOT opportunities that arise but ,when no one’s watches and no thanks are said ,then then you are not just a legend but a 🌟 Star and stars warm up planets and that what you are, A TRUE AND NEVER KNOWING A STAR

  25. Gustavo Macall on December 27, 2021 at 8:35 pm

I dont like to limit myself to one brand , I get the best possible tool for myself and sometimes the best tool you need is not in the brand that you normally use , I mainly have Dewalt and Milwaukee.

  26. John 316 on December 27, 2021 at 8:36 pm

    1. Circular saw
    2. Drill (recommends hammer drill for concrete)
    3. Jigsaw
    4. Random orbit sander
    5. Router

  27. Tamara Mills on December 27, 2021 at 8:36 pm

    Yh

  28. William G. on December 27, 2021 at 8:38 pm

These comments are killing me. I never thought so many people would take such joy from pointing out that covering a brand name doesn’t fool them. Congratulations.

And griping about jargon. If the man uses a word you don’t understand, use the context and look it up. Expand your vocabulary. Nothing he said here is too complex for the average person to figure out.

Or that it’s "boring" because he talks too much. Really? If a quick education regarding tools you’re going to dump a lot of money into is "boring," maybe this isn’t the hobby for you.

Hate to sound negative and all, but the guy helped you out with a video on a subject he knows a lot about. So do him a favor and say thank you. Lazy. 😅

  29. Gustavo Macall on December 27, 2021 at 8:38 pm

Drills have been replaced by impact drivers .

This is a superb wood working book I`ve ever read, *TopFineWoodworking. Com* . Both novice and some skilled woodworker can gain a lot of general info using this reading material. I`ve been very amazed how frequently I use this to look up woods at places like to restore and salvage spots.?

  33. saxyrep1 on December 27, 2021 at 8:44 pm

It’s gonna shock some but as one who’s been woodworking, not professionally but intensively, for 4 years here’s what I think is really vital as a beginner :
    -Impact driver and drill
    -Miter saw
    -Jig saw
    -An orbital sander
    -A palm router
-And most shockingly, a plunge tracksaw rather than a circular saw. Now, you can leave the angry comments sayin’ I’m an idiot.

  34. Woodworking Woodworking on December 27, 2021 at 8:45 pm

    Amazing!!!!

  35. Timothy on December 27, 2021 at 8:46 pm

You should use a lot less "jargon" especially for a beginners tutorial

  36. Rico Richardson on December 27, 2021 at 8:46 pm

What I don’t understand is: You’ve taped over the brands.. which I guess is due to prevent unwanted sponsorship etc. But on most of the tools I could still see the brand name somewhere else (i.e. the battery) or recognize the logo (i.e. the Bosch sander). So why did you tape them over?

  37. Arie Al-Amin on December 27, 2021 at 8:47 pm

    An awesome end result.
Yeaa, I also learnt woodworking a lot and in LOVE with it from

  39. MarcraM82 on December 27, 2021 at 8:50 pm

this is so helpful. what would you recommend i buy first circular saw or jigsaw? i’m not building anything really just need to cut various pieces of wood from time to time (landscaping & fixing things around the house). Nothing major at all. Confused as which way to go!

  40. Ed Reed on December 27, 2021 at 8:50 pm

I like your gauges. My girl got her clit pierced.

  41. Robin Stewart on December 27, 2021 at 8:52 pm

Gee, let me guess. Dewalt circular saw, Bosch drill, Ridgid impact driver, Dewalt jig saw, Bosch orbit sander, Festool plunge router, and Dewalt trim router. Could probably find the model numbers as well. Personally, an ex-Dewalt fan, I’m now switching entirely to Ridgid cordless.
