Why did you tape the logo brand?
Is it because the tools’ maker can sue you for showing their tool on your video?

Its better just blur out the whole tool and while you at it blur out all other brands including the t-shirt.lol

  2. danijel124 on January 16, 2019 at 8:11 pm

When you start woodworking you need a hammer, chissel, hand saw, nails and some sanding paper…

  3. Ram Eshwar on January 16, 2019 at 8:13 pm

Please explain in layman’s language…cos you talk as a specialist in carpentry.

  4. Pito on January 16, 2019 at 8:13 pm

2:20 noooo you forgot to cover the brand Dx

  5. danijel124 on January 16, 2019 at 8:13 pm

Its worth mentioning if you have a 3d printer you can print adapters so drill batteries fit to every brand. But be carefull as far as I know Makita battery can be used with all brands because it has protection circuit in the battery…

  6. Bryan Hunter on January 16, 2019 at 8:15 pm

Thank goodness you taped over the names cause I was completely stumped as to what brands they were 😛

  7. Elio Rose on January 16, 2019 at 8:16 pm

I would also recommend using Star-head or Square-head wood screws. They have higher torque limits, almost zero stripping and no drivers jumping out and poking holes in your projects or workbench.

  8. Jay 24cents on January 16, 2019 at 8:16 pm

    2:20 oh its DeWalt

  9. I Paid on January 16, 2019 at 8:17 pm

We use the cheapest orbital sander we could find. It’s from Walmart and was about fifteen with some pads. It’s a trooper. It will get you through your first few months of wood working. But the tole it takes on your wrist is where a more expensive ones are nicer. And a year later it is starting to make some interesting noises

  11. Jeffrey Miller on January 16, 2019 at 8:18 pm

  12. Ali Haidar on January 16, 2019 at 8:20 pm

I remember the time when I bought my first cordless Impact wrench from DeWalt, and then ended up buying most of the 20V line-up :/ I regret nothing. Now I’m planning to buy some of the FlexVolt tools as I’ve bought a couple of FlexVolt batteries.

  13. blake102989 on January 16, 2019 at 8:21 pm

Pretty sure we all know the brands of those

  14. Noah Hamm on January 16, 2019 at 8:21 pm

Love how you covered out the name for all the tools so people who dont know what brand they are will never know

  15. celik yasin on January 16, 2019 at 8:21 pm

    you are so beautiful girl

  16. Dane Hepner on January 16, 2019 at 8:22 pm

is there a brand for getting a drill set that you recommend?

  17. Cheryl Sederlund on January 16, 2019 at 8:26 pm

    Very helpful. Thank you

  18. Kyle Wong on January 16, 2019 at 8:26 pm

Great video! I’m looking to get more into woodworking so this was perfect! Thanks for sharing!

  19. TigerMatt.31 on January 16, 2019 at 8:27 pm

Ryobi has great starter sets all battery operated

  20. Sidowse on January 16, 2019 at 8:27 pm

Best stationery tool is the carpenter’s pencil. 😉

  21. Kroban3 on January 16, 2019 at 8:29 pm

Clean, cross grain cuts in veneered plywood can be made with a straight edge and a circular saw. Doing a very shallow scoring scoring cut first will give you a clean cut on all 4 edges of the cut. By shallow scoring cut I mean the depth of cut should be 1/64′ to 1/32". After that make your full cut.

  22. Brian Alvarez on January 16, 2019 at 8:30 pm

YOU MISSED TAPING OFF THE BATTERY ON THE DEWALT LOL

  23. moin uddin on January 16, 2019 at 8:30 pm

*This is a tremendous help to me. I have been struggling for long to build a perfect outdoor shed, it was this plan [ **_Check Details In My Channel_** ] that has really helped me correct the mistakes during the process. I love the projects and I’m grateful to the creator of this collection of plans.*

  24. happykt on January 16, 2019 at 8:31 pm

The music in the background with the thumping was quite annoying.

  25. usernamemykel on January 16, 2019 at 8:31 pm

So, without access to a table saw, how do you suggest one make a "V block" for use with a band saw?

  26. Montana White on January 16, 2019 at 8:32 pm

I can’t stand cordless circular saws. Maybe if you cut something smaller than 2x4s

  27. Jaime Torres on January 16, 2019 at 8:35 pm

    Great info, thanks.

  28. Feathered Paws on January 16, 2019 at 8:39 pm

beginner here. is electric hand planer not required for every project?

  29. ThomasBuilds on January 16, 2019 at 8:43 pm

Great video. I would skip the circular saw and get a nice but affordable table saw or miter saw just because of their versatility also even if your just a starter as soon as you get enough money get a planer saves you unbelievable amounts of time and makes your work look much better.

  30. lucyferina on January 16, 2019 at 8:45 pm

drills are cheap get one of each type why limit yourself?

  31. Hala pain Yo on January 16, 2019 at 8:45 pm

My workshop has poured concrete walls. What time of drill/bit should I use if I want to drill into to?

  32. Donald Cone on January 16, 2019 at 8:46 pm

    Hoping for more sponsors 🙂

  33. RV Sun on January 16, 2019 at 8:48 pm

If your recommendation is to use batteries to power the tools, are the batteries for your different brand tools in this video interchangeable?

  34. The Country Carpenter on January 16, 2019 at 8:49 pm

I started off with a framing hammer, a smaller hammer, a ripping hand saw and an old, slow hitachi 18v drill. That definitely helped me get started. Now I use nothing but DeWalt 😆

  35. Braydan Mains on January 16, 2019 at 8:51 pm

    Dewalt we know

  36. Kannangoutham Goutham on January 16, 2019 at 8:53 pm

thank you very much. it is loud and clear for the beginners like me.

  37. sindiso singwango on January 16, 2019 at 8:56 pm

    Thank you Ryan Gosling

  38. Cool Ruler on January 16, 2019 at 8:56 pm

@2:21 – Thanks for the advertisement – *DeWalt*

  39. Kroban3 on January 16, 2019 at 8:57 pm

LOL! I recently discovered the bit in my OF1400 is not centered when using a guide bushing. There’s no easy user adjustment unlike every other router on the market so I sent it in to Festool. They say they’re going to fix it. They better!

  40. Aaron Tyrrell on January 16, 2019 at 8:57 pm

    Dewalt x2

  41. creolelady182 on January 16, 2019 at 8:59 pm

    Valuable info

  42. winter caleb on January 16, 2019 at 9:00 pm

can’t quit my job yet, gotta earn money to buy these tools first.

  43. Wing Wah Man on January 16, 2019 at 9:00 pm

just a question, isnt cordless tool weaker than the normal ones?

  44. Mike Girard on January 16, 2019 at 9:01 pm

Buying the tool combos is a really good tip. I bought my tools piecemeal and probably spent 4 times more and got mostly less quality than I would have if I’d bought one of the sets that are frequently on sale at HD. Those Ryobi packages are a particularly good deal.

  45. MLane on January 16, 2019 at 9:05 pm

good to know! thanks for the info XD

  46. Michael Kelly on January 16, 2019 at 9:05 pm

Agree with almost all you advised except on router bits. A cheap set will get you started and you will find the ones you use the most and by good quality replacements as needed. Buying a good quality bit you don’t need by mistake could be the same cost as a cheap set.

  47. Chase Leibowitz on January 16, 2019 at 9:06 pm

I would personally replace the impact driver with a miter saw because I use miter saws a ton and I have never touched an impact driver once. You can drive screws with a drill. Otherwise, great video

  48. Joshua Taylor on January 16, 2019 at 9:07 pm

The Dewalt brand is taped up but not the smaller insignia haha

  49. Jeremy Price on January 16, 2019 at 9:07 pm

Did you ever get around to making a hand tools, and stationary tools video?

  50. Woodworking on January 16, 2019 at 9:07 pm

these tools are amazing too bad I’m poor right now.
