good ideas. As I watched the video, I started to disagree with some of the choices you made, but then I reminded myself, if it was my projects, I would have made my own choices, and probably had some of my own mistakes in there as well. I like the inspiration you provide in the video and the use of wood for projects making them more unique and well suited as personal gifts. Keep up the good work!

    great ideas!! thanks for sharing

  35. Leonard Gump on January 16, 2019 at 8:49 pm

I’ve just discovered your channel and love it. Can I make a safety suggestion? When you wear your hoodie in the shop, you run a dangerous risk when you lean over the spinning blade with the ties dangling dangerously close to the blade. You might find your face being dragged down to the blade before you know it. Please don’t let the ties run free when working in the shop, would hate to see some ugly scars on that face. You don’t usually think about gravity and dangling stuff when your attention is on making that cut precisely and quickly.

  36. degreatal on January 16, 2019 at 8:50 pm

Yeah "simple" with billions investment of workshop tools

  37. Tim Clingenpeel on January 16, 2019 at 8:51 pm

What are dimensions of catch all and is it 3/4” for the frame?

  38. Dr Greenz on January 16, 2019 at 8:53 pm

hello you do some awesome work, tell me you studied to be carpenter or worked for a long time of that

  41. John Kenny on January 16, 2019 at 8:59 pm

Why did I only find this too close to Christmas to do anything? Nice job each one.

  42. Stephen Hill on January 16, 2019 at 9:00 pm

Nice. All you need is an electric planer, a bench drill, an electric saw table, an electric mitre saw , an extensive workshop and a bit of time. As a beginner these "simple gifts" are very expensive. Yes you can make these with hand tools but who has the time?

  43. Per Shop on January 16, 2019 at 9:01 pm

    Very nice items!

  44. Fajar Suryantoro on January 16, 2019 at 9:03 pm

it’s not simple because you’ll need alot of professional tools to make all of those

  45. N L on January 16, 2019 at 9:04 pm

    nice, neat and simple.

  46. David Harvey on January 16, 2019 at 9:08 pm

Thanks, great ways to use up offcuts. I hate throwing away small pieces of wood but lack imagination. My favourite is the candle holder.

  47. Reckless Gaming on January 16, 2019 at 9:09 pm

  49. Alex Orphic on January 16, 2019 at 9:10 pm

Hello sir, it would be great if you made these gifts or others without your expensive equipment.
I hope you take my words into consideration and upload videos that anyone can make. ^^

What does the tung oil do? Do you have to apply multiple coats?
