    you lose the "for beginners" part when you pull out that first bit, and those dowel pieces/whatever they are.. I’m a beginner and dont know where to get those or what they’re called and you never address that.

    I love your clamping blocks. I am going to make some of those tomorrow!
    I would point out that using a nail or brad gun works wonders for temp attachment while the glue dries.

    On the first trick why do u use a screw then a pencil? Why not make a hole for the pencil and skip a step?
