Hey Stumpy, have you tried covering the Airshield inlets with some kind of cloth as a prefilter to prolong the ones in the helmet?

Would love to see a video on lathe tool sharpening with the Carter and Sons tools.

Hi. Love your videos, thank you for making them.
I clicked on the Duragrit link and my security system warned me it is a phishing site. Did something happen to the Duragrit company? Their Facebook site hasn’t been updated since 2021.

I’ve bought several of your suggestions, and am grateful for your advice! Hoping to return a favor; check out EZ Red pliers.

    Excellent as always!

I also concur with the comments about carter and sons. They are a small family business and customer service is top notch. The tools have exceeded my expectations and i keep adding new ones to my collection. They aren’t cheap but well worth it in my opinion.

    Nice content, thanks for that.
Individual rare earth magnets on various machines take care of chuck keys, tommy bars and 6 inch engineers rulers etc…

You always know where the bits n pieces are then…..

As always, I enjoyed the Cool Tools video. However, I realized that for the cost of the face mask or the pocket hole tool, I could buy my most needed (though currently unaffordable) machine, a jointer. Ouch!

"A pain in the butt" he says, showing problem aligning a butt joint. Heh, heh.

That helmet would be great for yardwork too, especially with a weed eater or if you have allergies.

Awesome channel… clear, concise, no music!! You know yer stuff and present it in a perfectly humble manner – love it! I have a question about the castle 110 – which seems wont be available til Fall 🙁

I built corn hole boards outta 2×4’s and 1/2" plywood for top…i use pocket holes to join the 2x4s to the plywood top so no holes/screws are visible on the top… this method is tricky and setup is crucial so as to avoid any screw ‘poke thru’… I have a harbor freight pocket hole jig that is adequate at best… Ive build 10 or so sets using this method with pretty good results… however, lately im frustrated with the terrible looking and hard to deal with tear out… QUESTION: do you think the castle 110 can be use to create pockets on the 2×4 so i can secure the 1/2" plywood top to the 2x4s? Thx in advance for any guidance and please keep up the great work!

Love the idea of the Castle 110 vs. Kreg but it’s not as well supported and based on the videos I’ve seen..just seems awkward to use for anything bigger than a picture frame.

I like the pocket hole job jig…but its out of stock until 2022….lol

I recently got a face shield as well. Pricey, hell yeah but worth it. Now when i exhale i do not get my eyes filled with dust. That alone made it worth it.

Hey Stumpy. I just clicked the link for the USA Trend Airshield Pro and the site said the product is no longer available. Any suggestions? Did love this episode of Cool Tools. Thanks.

Are there wooden plugs available for the Castle 110 pocket hole machine

  20. Jonathan Klein on November 9, 2023 at 11:07 pm

You should look at Peke safety for their air shield pro – i found it a much better fit as it is way more balanced then the trend.

Hi Stumpy Nubs, James from the UK. I’m really interested in the castle 110 machine for my home workshop to help with my builds. A little expensive but can you tell me if I buy it and have it shipped to me can I change the electrical output for UK plugs? And also do they do it in mm or is it just inches?
    Thank you
