Bryan, I don’t know if you realize it now but at the 3:40 mark you make reference to a Micro-jig product that you consider inferior. The push block you are recommending IS BY Micro-jig! Did you mean compared to the Gripper? If so, that too is by Micro-jig.
Digital calipers are super convenient, except for the batteries. Mine drain the battery even when the calipers are turned off. It’s a hassle to take the battery out when you’re done using it (especially when you realize you need to take one more measurement). I ended up getting dial calipers, which is what I use when I’m not doing a lot of measuring.
