Adding Drawers to the 1-Hour Workbench // Woodworking Shop Project
In this #woodworking project, I add #drawers to my 1-Hour #Workbench. I was in need of some shallow drawers, so these will definitely come in handy.
Plans for these drawers are available on my website:

Happy building!
What screws did you use in the pockets?
great vid
Nice addition!
Just purchased the plans for the table and drawers! Great tutorial and straightforward design. Really appreciate you. Definitely got a new subscriber.
perfect solution to my workbench!!!!!!
Awesome!
I’m gonna add that soon!
I really like that the videos are not filled with a lot of unnecessary dialogue. It is direct and to the point, which I really appreciate. So many DIY videos are filled with unwanted chit chat which really detracts from the projects. I also like the fast motion which is slow enough to see what’s happening. Great job!
That is smart to add the structural 2 x 4s at the end and therefore not to rely on the squareness of the original workbench. Trying to fit a drawer perfectly between my vertical uprights would be nightmare. Great video!
Thanks for the FF, and for not saying a word! Too many vids out there with guys that just want to hear themselves talk.
its a very nice
If you notice pocket holes in the drawer frames for no reason, it’s because I had the jig set incorrectly and drilled them too deep. So instead I just used glue and pin nails.

Turned out Great…….
Nice work. Pls can you add the measurements?
Se mira genial, yo tengo que hacer un update a mi mesa de trabajo
What happened to your RYOBI impact drill? did it give out?
So clever bro
Really great video…but am I the only person that leaves my bench top overlapping by an inch and a half for clamping purposes?
I so love this project
Hi there I don’t know if any one has asked this, but are you able to add metric sizing to your plans?
Wow. No annoying music, and no talking to slow things down. Great job !!
You made that look insanely easy!
I’m here for the high-speed sounds, and to learn…
Not enough pins imo
Apik men kang
Made the workbench last week. Just made the drawers today!
great work, really enjoyed watching it. this workbench is going to be awesome!
DIY at high speed! This was so awesome! No long discussions or explanations.
How wide and how long is your work table? I made last year but I’m going to make a bigger one in a few weeks. I’m looking into trying to incorporate some drawers.
Fantastic solution and upgrade to the workbench! I’m planning something similar for my CNC table and this video was very helpful!

Love to see your video 👍👍👍👍
Love this easy-to-build bench !
I used his ideas on my workbench frame. But there is one minor drawback to adding these drawers the way that he did. You loose the overhang on the front side, that you could have used for clamping !
You add some convenience and loose some convenience !
Allways a trade-off I guess. 😞
Hey brother what kind of table saw do you reccomend?
Damn, YouTube has such great plywood. Can’t get anything like that in Sweden
GREAT JOB ON THE BENCH .THANK YOU .FROM DOUG
I made my benches almost exactly the same. Some things I don’t like about it is that I can’t use my smaller clamps on the edge, and I bump my shin on the bottom beam holding the shelf. If anyone has a good looking solution I love to see it
How do you space drawers for slides? The width seems important. Last time mine would jam up o.O
I definitely would have routed a recess for the drawer bottoms to fit into the sides so you could put a little weight inside.
No bull, just joinery 👍🏻
Man, you’ve got more tricks than a carload of monkeys! Lol! Great job!
I love it
What is the best way to add a shelf to the bottom?
*Great product **MyBest.Tools** and price.*
