Do you really believe they aren’t using those machines & power tools you see in the background? These "craftsmanship" videos always show the last stroke of a cut, there is one point where you can see what looks like mitre saw tear out which you wouldn’t get from a Japanese saw. These could be woodworking classes but I doubt they actually build this way.

  6. WOOD - YOU BELIEVE IT on January 16, 2019 at 8:16 pm

top quality , yet surprised a hammer used if joints a little tight , surely a piece of wood to protect face from bruising , or better still a mallet , other wise as a ships joiner by trade this is awesome work !!

  19. Als Sap on January 16, 2019 at 8:28 pm

  20. Дмитрий Чайников on January 16, 2019 at 8:29 pm

they are humans, any human on this planet is capable of doing so … is not about "japanes", don’t forget all the good things that the we use today, most of them are coming from Europe …, looks nice tho anyway, good wood work

  22. Daniel Miller on January 16, 2019 at 8:29 pm

You guys are unreal. I would love to come to Japan and spend some time working with you. Your work is as close to perfection as I’ve ever seen with human hands.

  23. Harrison Boone on January 16, 2019 at 8:33 pm

I thought they were making something useful, what a waste of talent.

  24. Just Check on January 16, 2019 at 8:34 pm

    3m 30s — screws?

  35. YoTu77 on January 16, 2019 at 8:52 pm

They use some special wood, so it’s easier to work with these techniques. Try this with ordinary spruce wood and you will not really have fun…

  45. David Leung on January 16, 2019 at 8:59 pm

Traditional carpentry in the Far East do not use steel screws or bolts. If you have decided to use steel screws and bolts why not use molded plastic parts and then bolt them together? After they are painted, no one can tell the difference. Just being purposely ignorant.

  47. Bruce W McLaughlin on January 16, 2019 at 9:00 pm

I always find it fascinating all the talent that goes into making something complex as this is , but the common consumer will look at the product and not see the craftsmanship at all.

  48. Naveen Naveen on January 16, 2019 at 9:01 pm

    Very skill working

  49. Victor González Palicio on January 16, 2019 at 9:03 pm
