Another great video Ben ,will you be doing any videos suggesting tools for beginners ?
I too am very interested in a set of plans for your shaving horse….
Best explanation I’ve ever heard on using the drawn knife and shave bench. Thanks
Hi, Great videos, very informative. I’m a newby when it comes to shavehorses and green woodwork, and have a question. you said that your drawknife has a slight curve to it, to get flat cuts? How does that work as my first thought was it would put a slight curve?
nice little video Ben
Strangely satisfying watching the shavings curl off!great video!
Great explanation of the shaving horse! Glad I clicked
Excelente video amigo, saludos desde Buenos Aires Argentina 🇦🇷

Good afternoon, Ben! You’re good. Thank you.
Nice AKU boots haha
Great video, keep on going!
That is just fantastic in every of its facets. Nothing ugly our ancestors did in every bit of how they worked and what their work produced. Timeless, ultimate technique. Fantastic demonstration and explanation.

Very interesting tutorials.
I love to wacth them and to learn this hand job "old style".
I love so mutch to carve wood and I want to learn this tecniques.
I have a question:
You say green wood, but I saw the wood chips and I think it is dry and not green wood.
Can you give me some info about?
Thanks in advance and many thanks for sharing your experience!

Say Heah Ben, Cheers. Now that’s why I rank you this high. Your definitely one of the best.,, p
Очень хороший образец станка. И очень хорошее пояснение.
perfectly explained great!
What a great piece of kit, (both the horse and the knife), I can see Phil Harding from Time Team using one ! 🙂
Ben do you sell and ship your draw knives if so could you give me an idea of the cost to the USA thanks
Truthfully, I will probably never do any woodworking, but I still find it interesting and satisfying to watch these videos.
Thanks so much for the tutorial on how to properly use a draw knife. I haven’t been angling my draw knife but I will from now on. I will also emulate your "flat side" technique as well. Thanks so much for your time, expertise and sharing your experience in this excellent video!!! Also, I’m enamored with your shave horse……hopefully you will share the dimensions at some point in time. Many thanks again for this tremendous video!!!
Thank you Ben! Glad to have you back putting out content. I’ve been enjoying one of your crook knives for a couple years and it’s great stuff! Saving and planning for some more purchases as time and projects come.
I would love to have plans for that shave horse! I gotta make one! And I love your work!!
This is exceptionally skilful work, I wish all children had the opportunity to try this kind of thing.
Really enjoyed this video. Thanks
I’m enjoying this introduction very much. They’re good videos. Thank you.
What start up tools would you suggest for a bigginner? Also what wood would you recommend a bigginner start on?
Outstanding demonstration of the drawknife and shavehorse. Very relaxing and engaging. I learned so much. Thank you!
Thank you so much for your very informative video. I will try the process for making a mallet since I am a new green woodworker at best. I think I like the shave horse design you use. Is it easy to carve spoons with it, too? Do you have any plans for building it? Or would you recommend any special literature or website to learn about its construction? Thank you.
Makes it look easy. Thanks Ben, keep them coming.
Enjoyed it, Ben !
Love it…. people like YOU should never die… NAMASTE! Thanks for bringing this to us….
