This woodworking book “Bαzοmο Tdy Plαn” (Google it) has a great deal of information about wood working. There are several designs in the book however it is mainly explaining the whole process of how to do various things and what tools to use to achieve them. To put it briefly, I`m fulfilled making use of this book, particularly in the process of learning about wood working. .
This tutorial is so wholesome
Hi Keith, i have a question, how much should i pay for a wood worker to make me a 4×4’ book shelves unit? Thanks apreciate the andwer☺️
I didn`t plan to use this woodworking book, “pepe amazing plan” (Google it) but rather curious about it. I had been truly impressed right after trying it. I was trying to learn more about the art of wood working, and was not disappointed. Many topics were covered, including everything from wood types to developing your workshop.
I’m so sure that you can make it too guys. Just look for woodprix.
👏🏻👏🏻🎉👏🏻🎉🌟⭐️🌟😃👍🏻👍🏻
Great Video Brother! 4:14
‘It’s not fine woodworking, it’s functional woodworking’. That sums up my attempts thus far. Thank you.
When I was a young boy, they did that for plug cutting. They would do all the plugs, then turn it on the side and use a band saw to cut the bottoms of the plugs. Makes it real easy and can cut a lot in little time.
I really wish to learn how to make things with wood, seems so simple but it is not, at least for me :/
Thank you for the detailed video! My previous woodworking attempts haven’t gone well, but your careful explanations make me feel like I can do it.
How important is it to glue and clamp the shelves before adding the screws? I have to work outside, so I’d rather not leave it overnight. Also, not sure I can move fast enough before the glue dries.
Is there any reason not to do the staining before attaching the back? It seems like that would be a lot easier.
Very nice. Could you use a Brad nailer instead of the extra time of counter sinking, plugs, and flush cutting?
ah, simple, easy to follow and clear. Thanks for the lesson!
Very nice! Thank you
I am really sure you can build it yourself mates. I made it 2 weeks ago thanks to woodprix website.
A simple solution to not having a router, is using a table saw and to make the dado cuts in one sheet so the dados are all aligned.
Can anyone answer, this: if you’re using 3/4" plywood and cutting 1/4" dados into the sides of the shelf then that leaves 1/2" for the countersink screw. I don’t think you mentioned how much, maxiumum, or minimum, that you countersink the screw into the sides and to also have a plug fit into it and hold. Can a plug hold in 1/8" countersunk hole?
Keith, great comment for your clamp solution to using the rope to clamp, cause I thought I could just screw it as soon as i’ve glued, if you don’t have the clamps. Another comment I read of drilling a hole into the dados to show where to screw, helps alot, Thanks! for this video.
Well done, thank you.
Está desanivelado.
One of the first projects I had to make in wood shop was a book case similar to this one, except we had to use hand tools only. It was not easy but it came out looking good and is still in use by my grand-daughter. Hand tools can be bought a few at a time, go for quality over price, buy the essentials first and the fancy gadgets later. While a router is a handy tool, anyone interested in wood working and has the space, they should always consider a good quality table saw as their first power tool. With practice on scrap wood first, you can make perfect dadoes very easily. And remember, the beginners best friend: molding! Fancy molding not only looks good, it can make up for misaligned edges. LOL!
How do you know it is square?
Supposed to be beginning woodworking but you didn’t explain why you’re using pine, what the different saws are, or how to use them. Can you make a bookshelf with a hand saw, hammer, and nails? Not everyone has expensive power tools.
thnx
Love it. I still have CDs and need a storage for those. Will do this very soon.
Fantasic. What do you do to hide the end grain?
now do it with just some glue, a chisel, saw and hammer ;P
Why not use wood dowels instead of screws
Thank you !! Great tutorial ! I am going to build my first bookshelf using your video.
Please don’t use sheetrock screws for anything other than securing sheetrock.

”Bαzοmο Tdy Plαn” (Google it) is a wonderful book about woodworking. I`m a graduate of a one-year carpentry program from a local tech college. Of all books I`ve read during my study about carpentry, I do think this is the finest book I have read so far. It includes useful images and goes over just about everything. .
I wish I had those tools to make it 😭. I love it! 1:46
I am so sure that you will find good way to make it on Stodoys.
It’s more helpful to me and I have now express on wood work just keep up giving us more ideas thanks again for everything

Nice, nice, very nice. However you can make it yourself. Just google WoodPrix plans and learn how to do it easily.
I am really sure you can build it yourself mates. I made it 2 weeks ago thanks to woodprix website.
Very useful and informative; clear and easy to understand! Cheers
New sub right here
Not a bad video. Very intuitive but someone needs to remove "uh" from his dictionary lol
This is the best video on bookcase building. And thanks for showing us how to do it with simple tools. Thank you.
Nice done. But I’m asking myself, is dado+glue+screws not an overkill? I understand the sturdy part of the story.
I made it myself. Just take a fast look for woodprix website if you’d like to make it too.
I didn`t intend to use this woodworking book, *TopFineWoodworking. Com* but instead curious about it. I had been truly amazed after trying it. It never dissatisfied me in my desire to have more information about the art of wood working. I discovered several topics such as wood types as well as designing your workshop..

Great and simple, thank you!
I’ve recently constructed a 6 x 9 shed for putting away old stuff in the house with this shed plan [Google search>>> https://twitter.com/yephelp/status/974132413621141505 ]. This plan has what it takes for you to outline the best sheds you can long for.

I appreciate this lesson on building a simple bookcase. I guess you have to have several sets of large clamps, a router a button punch machine, a flat saw, etc. Will have to get those.
Thanks, Keith, for all your fantastic, interesting and educational videos. Watching you work made me realise how stupid I was when I ignored my twice weekly woodworking and metalworking lessons at school. Now I know what I know, these crafts should be a compulsory part of every child’s curriculum without exception. Keep up the good work, Keith, your enthusiasm, dedication and commitment is a true inspiration.
