Great review, any thoughts on the mitre gauge / mitre slots? Are they standard size. Also love the Yojimbo, great way to open a box!

OMG 15;40 to 15;50 gong show nonsense

  3. Olivia Kortesmaki on May 19, 2022 at 7:51 pm

i think im gonna go get this saw now

  4. Cornelius Agrippa on May 19, 2022 at 7:52 pm

Are parts like rifing knife and wood guide interchangeable between different makes of saw? like Makita for Milwaukee as they look very similar sizes if not the same.

  5. David Rodes on May 19, 2022 at 7:52 pm

I’m revisiting this video for the third time.. peaked my interest months ago. Revisited when I started my hunt for an affordable table saw for DIY stuff…. Now I’m watching again since this saw was just delivered today! I’m excited to try it! Thanks again Vince!

  6. David Medina on May 19, 2022 at 7:53 pm

Thank you, you made my decision. I just went out and bought it. 👍

  7. Devin Woodard on May 19, 2022 at 7:54 pm

Solid review! Checked all the boxes for what I was wondering 🙏 Thank you!

  8. MakeSaveinc Com on May 19, 2022 at 7:57 pm

Yeah, but u did not say where to buy ?

  9. Salty Slav on May 19, 2022 at 7:57 pm

    So much plastic

  10. 5.7.0 bassin on May 19, 2022 at 7:59 pm

I’ll say not much scares me but a table saw scares the crap outta me I’ve used them a 100 times but man every time I turn it on my heart races lol

  11. Gideon Jura on May 19, 2022 at 8:00 pm

Sold me! The biggest consideration is it blends in with the rest of my Milwaukee collection 🙂

  12. Roger Culver on May 19, 2022 at 8:01 pm

I bought the Hercules table saw. It runs so smooth after a year of heavy duty use my pencil doesn’t even move when cutting. I won’t buy anything else after using this one unless they come out with a 12 inch. My DeWalt sucked so much after 3 months I gave it away.

  13. Eric Horner on May 19, 2022 at 8:03 pm

    Great video. You sold me

  14. Andy V on May 19, 2022 at 8:06 pm

those plastic guards are more of a safety hazard. the kick back is important tho

  15. Life of Dj on May 19, 2022 at 8:06 pm

Is it true this saw can cut through 4×4 material?

  16. a 6 on May 19, 2022 at 8:08 pm

    Its beautiful

  17. Timothy Brown on May 19, 2022 at 8:10 pm

I have this saw and love it

  18. Peter R on May 19, 2022 at 8:10 pm

If you don’t need all that depth of cut, I would recommend spending like $60 more and go with the Skilsaw SPT 8 1/2" worm drive saw. It’s amazing and the worm drive is not only more powerful but much quieter.

  19. Mei Parks on May 19, 2022 at 8:11 pm

Excellent demo of a good product. Good job!

  20. Wynn Hornburg on May 19, 2022 at 8:11 pm

Cheaply made….. All components which would assure accurate reliable cuts are plastic. Incomplete setup instruction, Such as checking blade and fence alignment. Can’t say I agree with your enthusiasm about the tools build???

  21. a 6 on May 19, 2022 at 8:13 pm

    Im impressed.

  22. Richard Ciardo on May 19, 2022 at 8:13 pm

Thank you for the great demo. I just bought one, and don’t have any experience with this kind of tool. So, hopefully you have saved me a trip to the Emergency Room! Yes, I read all the safety instructions, but it helps to visualize, especially when you are new at it!

  23. Keith Bishop on May 19, 2022 at 8:14 pm

The thing that I heard was it only cuts 5/8 when 3/4 would be better. I would like to see you do dad cits

  24. bomark 2002 on May 19, 2022 at 8:15 pm

Awesome demo man, I have a question, what is the difference between this skil saw ts6307-00 and the skilsaw 10” is it the same saw, because one of them is like over a 100 and some bucks more? Sorry if this question is dumb and offensive in case I missed something, 😂

  25. Joseph Melcher on May 19, 2022 at 8:15 pm

Nice job, Skill would not have been my first choice but your demo makes me consider it. I would like to see the Harbor Freight offerings demonstrated just for curiosity’s sake.

  26. Tom Gahan on May 19, 2022 at 8:16 pm

I will be getting one. Thanks for the info!

  27. jawnTem on May 19, 2022 at 8:16 pm

Lol ! You might have provided a link to the saw so that you could get some kind of kick-back from it? Regardless, I’ve been wanting a new saw, like forever. My last saw (a Sears unit not near the quality and usability of this one), was "borrowed" by a son-in-law and I haven’t seen it since. Due to this, I’ve been searching for a "better" replacement. It seems that I’ve found one. Thank you for an enlightening video and review.

  28. Mike Maciazka on May 19, 2022 at 8:17 pm

Thanks for the video, Vince. Would you still recommend this one a year later (it’s $350 in 2022)? I’m in the market for my first table saw and I don’t need anything better than this for my purposes, but I am curious about a couple other saws that are in the price range.

I’ve looked at some of the sub-$200 saws (Ryobi, Performax, HF, Craftsman…ones that would’ve been $100 or less a few years ago) so keeping in the price range ($400 max), I was looking at the following:

These are 15A 10" with the exception of one 8-1/4".

    DeWalt DWE7485WS (8-1/4") $400
    Ridgid R4518 (10") $400
    Ryobi RTS23 (10") $300

  29. Miles McGrew on May 19, 2022 at 8:17 pm

He has one of the most unique methods of feeding wood through a saw that I have ever seen. I bet he gets nasty bite on the last 1/2-3/4in of the piece as it hits the blade on the back while he moves from the back (pulls), or far right, behind the fence. You can hear it at the end of his cut. I guess it doesn’t really matter if you plan to cross cut it to length afterwards, you can just chop off that part.

    Solid review.

  30. Donnie Cook on May 19, 2022 at 8:19 pm

I have one of these saws and so far I love it but I wouldn’t mind seeing someone use a dado stack with it

  31. Tiant Passmore on May 19, 2022 at 8:19 pm

This saw is always sold out or not available at my Lowes

  32. MrSrtman18 on May 19, 2022 at 8:20 pm

I just got it based on your review! Thanks!

  33. Alexey Sychev on May 19, 2022 at 8:21 pm

For people from Europe: this saw have different model here – Skil 1340. Only small differences – it does not include anti kick-back, probably the motor is little bit different – 4500 RPM, and stock blade is 48T.

  34. MeriKa Tools on May 19, 2022 at 8:24 pm

I tried cutting concrete blocks with this….not only was it loud as all hell….it chipped all the teeth off and barely cut the material

  35. Phillip M on May 19, 2022 at 8:26 pm

    Will this take a dado?

  36. Joseph Friday on May 19, 2022 at 8:27 pm

It’s a great table saw, but I got my Craftmens 10” table saw at Loews last year for $160. For what I do it is a much better deal.

  37. War Pigs on May 19, 2022 at 8:33 pm

    DilWaukler-Pro-Saw-bi Brand.

  38. Roland the Thompson gunner on May 19, 2022 at 8:34 pm

I guess if you don’t have 300 bucks plus it’s not affordable. This saw is comparable in pricing to all of the other leading brands. So not sure how this saw is “ more affordable “. But in regards to table saws you do get what you pay for.

  39. Free Radical on May 19, 2022 at 8:34 pm

Are those prescription safety glasses or did you just get back from a WW1 reenactment riding a 1911 Harley Davidson with a side car?

  40. Erli Bittencourt on May 19, 2022 at 8:35 pm

    T H I S I S A KICK-A S S V I D E O ! ! ! Also, I will be buying the Skil because of the rock and pinion fence. Thank you!

  41. Jim Hagler on May 19, 2022 at 8:35 pm

This saw comes with a hidden tool. It’s that piece of styrofoam under the motor. I painted mine orange to match my guitar and it works as a stand to change your strings. listen up players.

  42. jack ploof on May 19, 2022 at 8:38 pm

    Nise saw i like it

  43. Kārlis Spalviņš on May 19, 2022 at 8:38 pm

    looks exactly like dewalt 745

  44. M Villa on May 19, 2022 at 8:38 pm

Thanks for this video, I been trying to decide from this saw or the dewalt. This one is a bit cheaper, and all the info you just provided helped me to see its a quality sae although pretty noisy. It will be my first purchase in trying to start woodworking. Thanks again very helpful 👍🏽 ✌🏽

  45. James C on May 19, 2022 at 8:40 pm

    i love good luck….

  46. Ahmed Bandukda on May 19, 2022 at 8:41 pm

It’s compact n sturdy. Emergency stop is good place. How much it cost. That the key thing buying at this time. As I already have new saw but was interested the bench saw but the price stops me at that point.

  47. CHiCkEnxPOrKxBeeF BBQ on May 19, 2022 at 8:42 pm

Awesome video I’m looking for a table saw this looks perfect just had a question will it be able to cut split logs for my bbq pit

  48. NotMe on May 19, 2022 at 8:43 pm

The logo on his t-shirt explains his selection.

  49. Kārlis Spalviņš on May 19, 2022 at 8:43 pm

Is the table surface flat ?

  50. cygnus1965 on May 19, 2022 at 8:44 pm

It’s not so much cost of metal gears as much as it is weight. All shipping is by weight. Every few oz per
Item adds up to many lbs on a bill of lading.
