Best Cordless Jigsaw 2021

While some folks think of jigsaws only as woodworking tools, they’re actually really versatile tools. They often find their way onto almost every contractor’s jobsite at some point. Choosing the best cordless jigsaw is about more than just the convenience of having no cord. The newest models are just as strong as corded models and some come with some pretty advanced Pro-level features. How does the Flex 24v compare?

Bosch has great control of cut and better ergonomics in my opinion, great with their new pro-core battery too!

Thanks for the review and comparison, and for not filling your videos with unnecessary fluff.
I have both milwaukee models; the barrel grip is my go-to and the top handle is my backup after using both.
That dewalt barrel grip looks impressive.

@Pro Tool Review. Thanks Kenny for the quick review. I’ll have to go read your full online review. I think that for now I’ll keep using my Bosch corded barrel grip jig saw.

Hope you, the staff at PTR, and your familes stay safe and well.
Wish all the dads at PTR a Happy Father’s Day.

You can disable the soft start on the Makita.
For me, a jigsaw is more of a precision tool. That’s why I’ve always had Makita.
I did however stick to the brushed version and the reason for that is mainly the variable speed trigger.
I don’t like the dial on the brushless model or the fact that it has a lockout button that needs to be pushed everytime.
But hands down its the best one.

been waiting for the dewalt barrel grip to go on sale…

  9. Wang Chung on January 8, 2022 at 10:24 pm

Bought the Kobalt on sale for $109 a year ago and I’ve been very pleased – and that was half price or better than the others I shopped.

Awesome you guys are adding kobalt into these test. Love kobalt because of their price/performance.

I was able to get the Kobalt jigsaw for free when I bought the XTR hammer drill and impact driver combo for $249 during the holidays. I’ve used it for numerous projects and it cut everything I needed perfectly. Kobalt offers so much value to performance especially when you get their tools on promo deals. Great video!

I’d love to hear some of the things you don’t like specifically. While stating a certain tool preforms a certain function "better than others", I’m left wondering which tools those are. I’m in all three battery platforms of your top 3. I do appreciate the bosch blade recommendation on your written review.
