New subscriber – love the content!
Colin, enough with the tips. we want techniques
If you just draw a circle on top of the 4 legs would that not work?
Cargo Strap
Thanks for that
Great tips again. Thanks for sharing. Does the last tip with the only work with rectangles (90 degree angles) or also with sharper angles, such as 60 degrees for making
hexagons?
The best
LOVE YOUR VIDEO"S!!! Keep them coming and don’t change a thing.
β€β€ three leg table never wabble.
Great table leg tip! The ABCD- 1,2,3,4 methods that failed me have now been flushed!
Outstanding information, thanks
I don’t know if you will see my comment but here it is….. Make a Zero Clearance Plate for your Jig Saw. It makes cleaner cuts from your Jig Saw. And also make a cross cutting board for the jig saw with the Zero Clearance Plate on it too.
I wish I could show you the videos I found on youtube that shows the stuff I just told you but I have never seen anyone else doing this. Peace from Texas and if you need me to show you the channels just ask me. Bye !
Great tips although I personally refuse to use my table saw as a work bench.
Great tips. Thanks Colin.
Thanks for the Tips and knowledge !!!!!!!!!!!!!
I learned the marking technique – | || ||| |||| – in shop class over 40 years ago.
Nice to see these all in one place. Great job Colin!
One way to tighten the strap is simply to push the blocks on each side closer to the corners after you tighten the strap initially.
Great tips, I like the square with the mag switches… Probably should have titled it "Best Woodworking Tips and Tricks _from_ 2020" so it doesn’t confuse us thinking you meant 2021… no big deal really, it’s not the year that is important, it’s the ideas!
Great tips..love the simple presentation…could listen to his voice for ages!
The weird facial expressions are very appealing!
Tell us about your watch, please
Awesome, best of list! ππ½
Cheers mate ππ½
Thanks for sharing those tips!
Great tips! I am new to woodworking, and I have a small ( and when I say small, I mean SMALL!). Me workbench has to be several things. One thing I have found is that when I glue something up, to protect my workbench I use a dog food bag cut and flattened, and the glue does not stick. I use this for my resin projects too. Wish I could attach a pic… yβall would have a good laugh!!!
Colin, I do enjoy your video’s. I used my jigsaw my wood by clamping it to the work bench or horse. I was watching one day someone using a power saw cutting the wood on foam. I then thought can I do that with the jigsaw, so I would not have to continuously clamp and un-clamp the wood. I buy the insulation foam, cut it in half which works well for cutting, and store the other piece for later. I then cut my wood with the jigsaw on the insulation foam and I am extremely happy with the results. No clamping at all.
Thatβs was brilliant thankyou π
Hello master you had always good idea everytime i watched your video .please also subscribe my channel if you have time im new diyers.thanks
6:11 its called ratchet strap.
Really fantastic tips, Colin! Thanks a lot! π
Stay safe there with your family! ππ
Anyone know why drill presses and drills still come with Chuck keys????
!!Great tips Colin!!…Thanks and Greetings from Mexico π
Hi Colin,,, just to let you know I watch all your vids,,, you give great advice and tips,,, Thanks for your content ,,, and its great to see and learn from from a Master, (Ray UK)
hello Collin, A tip you might like is I use french cleats and install magnets on them to hang many things: hammer, tape measure, etc
Great tips! With the legs, you really don’t need to make the 4 marks. After you’ve marked 1, 2 and 3, you can always put them back the same way. Not a big deal, just an observation.
0:44 my key hangs from a cord.
Great tips! For 1234 trick I think you can just do 123 and leave last joint unmarked. It should still work.
Always a pleasure to see a new video from you.
I keep my drill press key on a retractable keyring that is meant to go on a belt. It stays attached to my press and when I’m done with the key, I just let go!
Thank You For The Great Info!!!! Much Appreciated!!! ππ
I really like tip#1 actually first part of it. When i’m screwing pocket hole, I always wonder how to stop the wood pieces from sliding away. The table saw fence !!! Not going anywhere. Thank you great info π
Colin, the "Master of Magnets"!
The pocket hole/dowel tip is awesome.
What is that electric tool you used to cut off the dowel in the pocket hole?
I just thought of one that I’m sure other people have thought of before, but instead of the red tape on the drill chuck key, use glow in the dark tape or paint. If it goes missing, turn out the lights and it should stick out like a sore thumb. You could do the same for other items you lose frequently, but with more items it would likely be slightly less efficient.
Your goofy faces lose you credibility for me.
