Bosch GTS 10J Table Saw Unboxing and Initial Review

Bosch GTS 10J Table Saw Unboxing and Initial Review

In this video I am unboxing my new Bosch GTS 10J Job site Table Saw that will go in my small workshop.
I bought this with my own cash so isn’t sponsored. I picked Bosch as it’s a reasonably priced high end piece of kit and I generally like Bosch with several tools and appliances that I own being Bosch.
I give you a bit of a tour of the features on the table saw and a review of performance and my initial thoughts.

Has anyone found the spanner that shows as comes with this No. 22 (image K3) in the manual, it’s the only thing I haven’t found yet? (just out of box).

Proper jealous, that’s a nice saw. Although I nearly had kittens watching you drag it out the box one handed!!

Palm, you need a new pair of scissors, they’ve only got one handle ✂️

Got one of these. Good saw other than the awful mitre guage and non standard mitre slots ( meaning you can’t easily find an aftermarket alternative). I made a zero clearance insert which you will need when cutting thin strips. Bosch should follow industry std for mitres which would make this saw more useful.

Great review thanks for posting! 2 years on are you still enjoying it? Thinking of getting one to replace my cheap titan. Love that the riving knife is adjustable, but can you confirm it can go below the blade height so you can use a sled? My current riving knife is higher so I’m forever taking it out and putting back in. Also it’s too high to use a gri-ppper which is one thing i want to get as i had my first kickback the other day which scared me sh**less!

Great video, thanks! I think you convinced me to buy this saw as I have limited space in my workshop and my current cheap table saw takes up too much space. Will this saw take a 100mm (4") hose from a dust extractor or will I need to get an adaptor to allow the 100mm hose to fit?

have you ever thought of reading instructions before trying different levers and knobs and doing a review.

Great review. Is the measurement scale just mm or does it have inches too out of interest?

Does it have the play in the fence after you lock it in place?
