Thanks for showing this plane. I recently added a few of the bridge city tools to my kit and admired how nice they are. Shortly after I got some tools, you started showing yours, and I thought awesome, Sedge is actually getting these too! It sounded like BCT use to be US made but have out sourced in the last couple years which is disappointing. But, they also say the new prices are down because of the outsourcing and I would be curious how extremely expensive they would be otherwise. I’m glad you showed this plane because I tend to pick up ideas of how to do thinsg well watching you and I have actually been thinking about buying some of their planes. Good video, thanks!

Perfect timing, picked one up at the Easter sale price of $99. One of the real selling points for a pocket tool was No Rust.

    Hey guys love your channel.
Wasn’t able to find a particular Festool sander in stock until someone told me about Texastoolcraft.
Do you recommend them ? (It would be my first oder and a big order so I’m being cautious)
    Thank you

Gentlemen, love this new video of the Bridge City Bench Plane. “Big D” you ask the best questions! You ask what I want to ask. Sedge, cool new tool with a great expiation. You two certainly complement each other. I like a good Bench Plane. However, I really like the side guides! I am going to have to get myself one. “Be Positive, Stay Safe”

The nicest thing about Bridge City Tools is that they make Lie-Neilsen and Festool seem like bargains. They are a hybrid of a work of art and a cool as hell awesome tool. I like to use this HP-8 for preparing wood strips that I use for making kumiko patterns.
