So, you have the script in your head, as you record? Nice.

  3. Kelly Schwartz on January 16, 2022 at 10:42 pm

In the future, would you consider making a video on single oven cabinet?

  4. Rick Nagy on January 16, 2022 at 10:44 pm

Awesome video! Aside from the detatched toe and pocket screws going up into the top back rail and deck on the back cleats, I make mine exactly the same!

  5. serkan yilmaz on January 16, 2022 at 10:44 pm

Omg dude I watched a lot of diy kitchen cabinets and you have the best and funnest one.

  6. Dom on January 16, 2022 at 10:45 pm

I was wondering, when framing with 2×4. What is a good clamp to align and hold? I have those little red ones. They work but takes longer and sometimes move or loosen.

I really like the WoodPrix plans.

  8. Joab Osorno on January 16, 2022 at 10:49 pm

"maestro" you never showed how to install the kick box to the cabinets!!!!!!. I like your presentation thought

  9. Jayden Coble on January 16, 2022 at 10:50 pm

How do you keep the edge of the horizontal board from blowing out when you put the pocket hole screw in? It always blows out when I put it that close to the edge.

  10. John Gawley on January 16, 2022 at 10:51 pm

When it comes the 1-1/2” cabinet screws attaching the top bracing to the back nailer plate, could this be done with an 18ga brad nailer and be just as effective as screws?

  11. Keith Byrne on January 16, 2022 at 10:51 pm

    Great watch. Very nice shop

  12. wade reed on January 16, 2022 at 10:51 pm

I bet that Bourbon Moth glue brush isn’t patented, (but it should be) 😀

  13. Lee Thompson on January 16, 2022 at 10:55 pm

Do you ever use PDF instead of plywood? Obviously depends on the grade, but considering trying your style on some closet cabinets and 3/4 ply is double the price of PDF right now.

  14. Bob Runman on January 16, 2022 at 10:55 pm

Love your YTC bud…… Can you please do a dog hole work bench video! Thanks Justin!

  15. TheWhitetailrancher on January 16, 2022 at 10:55 pm

the augmented herf you cut in the bottom of your sides is NOT a dado, its a rabbit. you should likely know proper woodworking terminology prior to "teaching" it. Never mind, After watching for just a few more minutes. Its very clear that you have absolutely no idea what the heck you are doing.

  16. Jim Argo on January 16, 2022 at 10:57 pm

Because the Kreg screws go in at a sharp angle how much trouble do you have with either the stiles or rails cracking? I always seem to have one or two crack when using hardwood. Great videos by the way. I’m a new subscriber.

  17. Sean Fao on January 16, 2022 at 10:59 pm

I have the stupidest of stupid questions. At 1:36, you’re using something to trim down the rough edges on your cuts. What is that!?

  18. ADV Steve on January 16, 2022 at 10:59 pm

    Fantastic video man! Great presentation.

  19. Harry Lisle on January 16, 2022 at 11:01 pm

Would you consider doing a segment on your favorite tools? (maybe you have, and me like trying to find any of my tools in the garage couldn’t find it…)

  20. redramos on January 16, 2022 at 11:02 pm

😅😅😅👍👍👍nice intro haha. Thanks for tips sir.

  21. MadisonHomes1 on January 16, 2022 at 11:04 pm

I really like your videos and I like your cabinets. One question though, your kick plate assembly has an extra cross member on the right hand side. What is the purpose of that extra member?

I’m building kitchen cabinets…..my wife bought a Xmas tablesaw, and I bought Kreg pocket hole jig set…but I don’t have a shop.
Instead, I will be working under a porch roof with the cold breeze for my dust collection system. Unfortunately, I have old existing wall cabinets and big box store prefinished base cabinets. I don’t like them. I’m going to make the wall cabinets matched..and a new 9" filler base cabinet because of the modular sizes of the prefinished cabinets….to match them.
You’re blessed with a good sense of humor…like the content…well explained and worth watching your channel

Don’t know if you take requests or not but I would like to see how you would make a built in bookcase and bi-fold doors.

  27. Daniel Ferraro on January 16, 2022 at 11:09 pm

I dont think your jokes, edits, dances, etc are getting enough credit lol.
Great video! well explained, nicely built and definitely great humor!

  28. Brent Schott on January 16, 2022 at 11:09 pm

  29. John Kuglin on January 16, 2022 at 11:09 pm

What a Christmas present finding your videos!! Thank you so much for taking the time to build this 3 video cabinet making series! I am a beginner and have played / studied your videos over and over. I love your personality too as it shows during your presentation techniques. You are even a better teacher than cabinet maker and you are an outstanding cabinet maker!! Thank you for sharing your expertise so others can benefit.

  30. Pokerbob22 on January 16, 2022 at 11:12 pm

Love the video. Thank you. But can’t I just use a router table to make the 1/4 slot for the back board? Would that work as well than the table saw?

  31. Team USA on January 16, 2022 at 11:14 pm

I learned something new today, and got a good laugh as well. 😀👍

Subbed. For the dry humor, monotone narrations, and of course the sexy saw dust blow back 😎 lol

  37. jj oo on January 16, 2022 at 11:24 pm

Your work is excellent quality and very cutting edge. The center piece for the kitchen sink cabinet needs to be integrated into the right hand door with pocket hole screws, and it needs a stop at the top. This center piece needs a design update, because it is functional obsolescence. It is a fatal design flaw that takes away from the value and functionality of the cabinet, because it obstructs access and makes servicing the plumbing unnecessarily difficult. Even though the professional plumber is an overlooked third party, smart people understand the value of efficiency. Many DIY homeowners will benefit from this improved design and know its value. I’d really like to see your solution to this design flaw, if you ever took the time. Thanks for all the great knowledge.

  38. Raymond Raine on January 16, 2022 at 11:26 pm

I really like your idea of keeping the base separate from the cabinet body. Seems much easier to build. 1) Do you do the same thing for stainable cabinets? 2) What do you do about the line between the cabinet side and the base? 3) Do you always just offest the sides by an inch? Also, I noticed the face frame is not flush with the bottom of the cabinet. On my pre-built kitchen cabinets these two do line up. 4) What do you do in order to get these to be flush?

When you mentioned the sacrificial fence, my thought was “i cant get any wood flat enough for this. Then thought oh yeah, I will have extra plywood😂

Glad I found the video! Great help with a current project, thanks!

  43. Josh Kohl on January 16, 2022 at 11:33 pm

How did you attach the Cabinet Carcass to the separate kickplate?

  44. Tony D on January 16, 2022 at 11:34 pm

Your a well rounded woodworker. Love all of your videos. I’m so appreciative of the comedy you add to the videos. I actually cut the rug every time you turn the funky tunes up. My wife thinks I’m nuts for doing that because I do it religiously.

  45. Alex Wenham on January 16, 2022 at 11:34 pm

People who paint hardwood are monsters lol, Poplar is the exception.

  46. Double Edge Gaming on January 16, 2022 at 11:36 pm

How much are those clamps and where can they be found?

  47. Thomas Martin on January 16, 2022 at 11:36 pm

Was the extra piece of plywood in the kick plate for support? Thx.
