Dear Steve! Any recommendation for a good Drill Press? Thanks for your inspiring videos! God bless.
I could make a small bench, right now, maybe…
is that a pine wood?
You had me scared to death…thumbnail pic looked like Purple Heart…😂😂
whats the name of the color? I need to have it..
i really appreciate when they show the error process rather than delete it. we’ll do some errors when making stuffs so it can help us how to fix it. good!
Make a Box, and paint it purple
The duck 😂
great video!!! Congratulations from Brazil
I might use this design for my eagle project!
Hi I’m a complete beginner at woodworking and I’m doing this for an eagle project.
Some things that are not clear to me are:
1. what type of wood to use
2. how long the deck screws need to be and as well as, how many
3. how pocket screws work.
4. and how much paint do i need?
It would be really nice if you could also give me some tips 🙂
Thanks!
For a moment in the beginning I though I was seeing Hugh Laurie 😅😅😅😅
Nice color… Ube
i appreciate the picture of the duck
Where are the plans? The link is wrong and I know that its a pretty easy project but the plans would help
Wow I’m sure that’s expensive to make . With all that purple heart
Page not found? Are the plans still available?
if i were to make it and sell it what would be a good price.
I’m new to woodworking and just purchased a used table saw. I’m curious. Is there a reason you choose to use a miter saw to cut the wood over a table saw? Would there be any difference if I cut the wood using a table saw? Thanks. Going to try to make this project thanks to you. 🙂
Built this bench over this past weekend. Wife told me to take down an unused sandbox that I was asked to build two years ago out of untreated 2x10s. Then she said she wanted a bench to go where the sandbox was. It is a shady spot under a large tree. I wanted to put a patio there, but was over-ruled in favor of a sandbox. When she said "bench", I instantly thought of this one. Ripped the 2x10s to 2x4s, discarding the part that was in direct contact with the ground. Even reused the 3" deck screws! She’s happy with the bench, and I am finally getting my shady patio. Total cost: one 3/4" dowel. Thanks, Steve!
Great project, Steve. Wondering if there is any risk of splitting the dowel upon driving in the screws?
Can you renew the link to the plans please?
These plans are not accessible. The site says page not found.
Love this bench, why kind of paint did you use
really inspired by your work. a newbie here for DIY and would really want to learn more. 👍🏻 started my journey as well, check it out if you have time 😉
CARA VOCÊ É FERA NISSO MUITO BOM THE BEST
We were going to follow the plans on your website to build this bench but there is not a "material list" to follow.
what hand saws did you use at around 2:36?
The word is that Hyezmar (google him) is going to change his mind and sell his plans, but as of today there’s still available to download, you’re welcome 😀
Hi Steve,I have just made a garden bench and a I live in rainy england I was wondering if you have a method for stopping the legs from rotting away, the bench is soft wood cheers malc
So do need to sand before painting?
What about moisture content for outdoor furniture like this?
Do you let your 2×4’s dry before using them – or are you using them straight from the store?
What kind of paint did you use?
Steve, I really like this project, I will modify it to make bonsai stands. Again, thanks a bunch. John
my wife calls me perfect, yep! She says that I’m, "the perfect example of imperfection." She says she knows how to have perfection in woodworking, "she buys it already made from the store.
Hi Ed, Good job, mmmmm? What’s this guys name anyway? No I didn’t say his name was anyway.
Have a great woodworking day, and no clowning in the shop, it’s dangerous.
Steve, love the video and idea. The link to the plans no longer works and a search on your site only comes us with the Popsicle Bench (Which I love and am in the process of building). Can you check on this please?????
cool bench but I could only assume your lumber store offered a free gallon of purple paint with the purchase of seven 2×4’s
Steve, I’d love to download your outdoor bench plans but I keep getting a 404 error code. I’ve seen this on several of your free plans, what’s up bud?
That purple looks hot ngl.
simple, easy and useful, nica Job í Will build one of those myself
Link takes you to plans for a mobile work station, not an outdoor bench like in video
Man your good you explain it so well

What paint did you use?
Can you paint in any color you want instead of purple? Because my favorite color is green and I was thinking of painting my park bench (whenever I build one) lime green. Can you also paint the pocket holes too or will that be hard to put the screws in (actually maybe I could just paint the pocket holes after I put the screws in)??
O LINK DO PROJETO NÃO FUNCIONA
do u have web site ? cuz I am biggenr I need all sizes
I really like this bench! Too bad the link to the plans is broken and I can’t find it on your website. =(
I’d like to know more measurements. Like how long are the seat board? and how much did you space them?
i swear my dad has this exact bench in our yard, except we use it to hold potted plants.
