Hey, good to find you, installing new tracks and liked your layout. Plus we have the same design style and daily fireworks show. But I have never mismeasured before.
Who the heck uses gorilla glue for wood?
Nice job.
The music is so irritating I couldn’t watch the video. We don’t need music.
Literally the one and only critique I have of the design is the wheel fastening design – specifically the four corners. Four possible bolts, down to three, one of which is in end grain and is therefore useless when you factor in the potential load of each while while things move around. I’d probably two-gang the lower long runners and put all four bolts in from the end about 4 inches to avoid the end grain from the legs. That’s it. Otherwise, fantastic build. (and yes, that’d probably mean I’m stupidly overbuilding it in all likelihood, but that’s what I do) 🙂
And I even got the Craig’s jig pocket hole.
Great table, will be making it for my new workshop. Thanks a million. Can I turn down the loud music?
How do I get the plans
Why is the table saw platform 1/8 inch higher than table? Why not the same? Level? Flush?
Love it! What did you use to cut the T-track?
I think you need more wheels
this is want i want I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR AGES how do i get a set of plans
Nice build Zach, well done video also. I was searching for a workbench build and came across your channel, I watched your video and subscribed to your channel.
A new subscriber from Iowa.👍
I like what you did with this table. I want to build one just like it. How do I get the free plans?
Really nice job, looks strong and should last a long time. Not sure why one individual does not like using the pocket hole screws but to each their own, myself I like them, not in all builds but in most. Do you use SketchUp for your plans or have you found a less expensive program to use? Look forward to seeing more of your work.
Take Care
Really GREAT table, Zack!! Excellent!!
Happened to catch the 1 (ONE) anti- pocket hole comment. Some people display their ignorance for all the world to see.
You ARE using pocket holes for EXACTLY what they’re for, so remain secure in your skills, methods & knowledge!!
Lotta people have your back, including skilled veterans of wood crafting. Don’t even worry bout it! Pfff. 😁
Would it have made more sense to have done the poly before doing the t-track?
Great build!!! I plan on making this for my shop.
Any thought on how to add a router to one of the far sections? Trying to find a plan or video fir combo table saw/router table. I will be using this to build by saw table
Great job, l personally do not like having my main tools on one table ie mitre saw and planner, and you have put the table saw the proper way for long cuts, again great job.
This table saw is just great, buddy. The size is spot on. This is my second build after your mitre station. Excellent. Keep it going.
How do you get the plans?
I’m sure this has already been asked in the comments, but there are a ton of them so I figure I’ll just ask anyways. You mention that the platform is made of 2x 5/8” pieces of plywood, but your plans call for 3/4”. Did you just misspeak in the video, or adjust the plans after making the video to optimize the build?
Your going to have the same problem as me. Eventually your going to replace your shitty job site saw for a saw stop or some other nice saw and your out feed table will be useless and you’ll be re working it like I did.
Thanks!
I’ve been preparing for an outfeed / assembly build and also have a Ryobi (BT3100) just like yours. Are you happy you put it all into one piece? Not sure if it would get in the way, especially if you want to lay some large sheet goods on the assembly table to break them down.
Also: Does the outfeed table get in the way of the sliding table on the left? It needs to slide a fair distance forward for the mitre fence to pass the blade.
Your video rocks. Your plans rock. That they are FREE is unbelievable. Thanks for everything you are doing. Sub’d
Nice build. Have you given thought of using the Micro Jig system for making it a assembly table. I did that for mine and LOVE IT!
Hi Zack. After you jigsawed the notches on your bottom board how did you locate the bottom board onto the frame. Does it slide through at an angle?
Do you happen to have the plans for this build? Nicely done
Why did u mount the table saw 1/8 of a inch higher
strange question maybe but how tall are you? I’m 6’5" and just trying to see if the height of your table would be comfortable or would making it a little taller be better for myself
I like it. 👍 Should work well after I finish cleaning out my garage with New Built Cabinets and French Cleat System.
That’s a pretty sweet setup. Well done.
What is that straight edge you were using for your circular saw that clamped to the workbench??? I need one of those bad😂
I like how the work bench has phases and you don’t have to do all of them at once.
Do the wheels, when locked, really hold the table steady? Or is there still some wobble?
Thanks much. Great table.
Thank you for the info
Sorry to be dumb, but how do the channels work, in both directions
Well done.
Thank you for the plans!!! I have a BT3100 and really wanted to do something like this.
Great video with mice music background.liked your video , simple with clear explanations .
Nice build, what kind of table saw do you have?
Nice job. Do you wish you would have aligned a slot or two with the miter slots on your saw?
Great project and a great job !!! Inspired to build my own !
Wow! What an awesome table. I wish I had the space for one.
How can I get the plans
The drawing and the video do NOT match and are not correct. The plans call for 9 – 2x4x42 for the crossmembers, yet in the drawing and in your video you use different length pieces. The crossmembers in the middle of the table screw to the face of the long 2×4 but the crossmembers on the ends (minute 5:35) mount inside the double 2×4 leg which is 3 inches shorter. I know this because I had to cut new 2x4s and mount all crossmembers inside the legs like the end at minute 5:35. If not, the base is only 45 inches wide.
Great job, this looks like a great table. Looking forward to starting mine soon. Since I’m pretty new to this type of work I have a couple questions/comments. In your cut plan you have four boards cut at 45" but no where in the page 1 or 2 of the dimensions does it show where those board are placed. Can you help me there? Also, it appears that your table legs are cut at 34 1/2 then adding 4 inches for the casters and 1 1/12 inches for the top would bring the overall height of your table to 40 inches, if I did my math correctly. So for a shorter person, say 5’8" my legs should be cut at 31 1/2 or so correct. Just started watching your channel, Keep up the great work.. Love the plans.
Awesome I look forward to building this.
