Clearly, there are plenty of trade school jobs in demand. And you don’t have to choose the highest paying trade to make good money

Peace be to you! This is VERY interesting! I think many of these jobs should be SERIOUSLY considered by today’s young people who may not feel that they are cut out for college.

As a result, employers in many growing industries are actively recruiting the next generation of tradesmen and women. High-tech manufacturing, construction, and oil and gas extraction companies are just a few examples.

    Go Union Apprenticeship Programs!
They set a standard to keep skilled wage pay up, the economy gets inflated and wages aren’t torn in half across the country, just everything else (but their pay) doubles or triples. Journeymen carpenters made 25/hr in 2004 around Chicago, non union multi trade skilled workers around Chicago make 25/hr 14 years later when gas has more than doubled, go work at Burger King now for 11/hr. Pretty soon the guy flipping burgers and the guy wiring the house will all socialisticly make the same, and with inflation, American middle class wages about got cut in half, by never raising it up. The Union has, but they don’t control the rest of the economy. Corporations want a cheaper middle class, and to end union Apprenticeships, for a cheaper worker, and tax dollars will fund it? Why not stick with Union Apprenticeships schools, hopefully that what This Old House is backing and the Department of Labor. Note wonder why no one wants to go wear out their body for 1/2 or 1/3 the price, "Can I get a couple knee replacements and an elbow with this as a career? And what about a rotater cuff, some discs, or carpel tunnel, trigger finger, etc?" And no noon-union outfit charging 100/he per guy (which they pay just on their 2x material markup) will ever pay you enough for a pair of knees at the end, you barely get by, stretching contacts, going through work cloths and boots that get trashed from the job, even putting up with your own dental problems you learn to live with. After 18 years your still working a job and haven’t started a career. I used to be in the union and later worked at a union service company, everybody was union except for the carpenters, what a disgrace, and then they go to whatever-star which just teaches techs to scan people and shots to pull their field guys away from they’re unions, what a disgrace. And people can suffer at the end of their life and spend whatever a little is worth on healthcare when inflation is raised to make pay for investor profits, and that’s ok because chemicals pills and cancer centers all go together, and it’s not that they want you to suffer, but stay around to pay, or they’d legalise a peaceful painless euthanasia for anyone who suffers everywhere, now you know, they should have never taken it away from the people yesterday, like 100 years ago.
Man, when he is corrupt, gets rid of that which isn’t corrupt, and for money or pretend morals invents a new taboo, which the earth was free from at its birth
