Carpenter Math : Two Ways to Square a Building – Pt 1

The methods in this video are the foundation in Carpentry and will help any apprentice or handyman drastically increase their abilities. In part 1 of 4, I quickly run through the highlights of this series then show you two ways to use easy math to square a building. The first method is the 3-4-5 rule for a right triangle and the other is Pythagoras theorem. I can’t express the importance of learning this concept.

    If you pull 2 tapes at the same time from your building corner with the measurements pre figured, it’s much faster.
