Students in the Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters’ paid, four-year Apprentice and Training Program become certified and trained in a range of carpentry skills, receive assistance in finding employment during the apprenticeship, and attend training classes for one week every 90 days.

There’s a demand for Carpenters!?? why are there so many Carpenters out of work then!? the Union just wants people sitting at home, paying dues!

I wish they would allow kids to start earlier, i could’ve done this after elementary school and loved it and actually been use what i leaned and able to make money to feed, clothe and shelter myself!!! History and geography is necessary but school should be allot more about how to survive after you graduate! Not everyone wants to or has money for college.
