  2. PathAsh Sessions on August 30, 2023 at 6:45 pm

Did you compare and check the accuracy of the angles produced with the pin feature?

  3. Robert Gemski on August 30, 2023 at 6:47 pm

The milwaukee version is like $9

  4. Jeff on August 30, 2023 at 6:49 pm

It’s NOT a fake, it’s just a different brand. A fake would use another brand’s name or logo. Many of these items from Amazon are as good or better than some of the "known" brands having huge profit margins. Some (like my lithium tool batteries) are much inferior.

  5. Guilty Pleasures on August 30, 2023 at 6:50 pm

    That ain’t no square!!!!! That’s a triangle identifying as a squarešŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

  6. S thompson on August 30, 2023 at 6:53 pm

  7. SigmaSixSoftware on August 30, 2023 at 6:53 pm

I’m sorry to tell you my friend but they’re the same exact product, it doesn’t mean that Amazon sells it that it’s a fake

  8. T Patrick Culp on August 30, 2023 at 6:54 pm

And that there is worth 30 bucks, right?

  18. C Ritter on August 30, 2023 at 7:08 pm

Is it true that Woodpecker’s patents were made public at one point and that’s why there’s so many copies/fakes made that look like Woodpecker Brand tools?

  19. Jer Bear on August 30, 2023 at 7:10 pm

    Looks good to me

  20. Andy Kinney on August 30, 2023 at 7:11 pm

Just a triangle identifying as a square. 🤷

  21. Charles OlRich on August 30, 2023 at 7:13 pm

Everyone knows that all the stuff that is patented winds up copied and sold for pennies because the greedy American inventors want to make maximum profit by having their stuff made in China. As soon as the design hits the China factory they start mass producing them! The inventor gets his order shipped and in the container next to his, are the ā€œknock offsā€ or fakes. The Chinese communists aren’t stupid; we have enabled them to become a world superpower because of American greed!!

  22. Nanoqx on August 30, 2023 at 7:14 pm

Gentlemen, I own Woodpeckers products to be up front, my choice, and many other brands as well. I don’t fault anyone buying less expensive tools, notice I didn’t say "cheap". What I do find troubling is how so many people will easily buy from a country "China" that not only is determined to ruin and possibly overthrow our country, (their words not mine) and employ slave labor to make these tools just to save a few dollars. I get that China has overtaken many industries and it is near impossible at times to buy anything but Chinese made products, but doing so just to save a few bucks is very sad.

  23. Granny Deen on August 30, 2023 at 7:15 pm

I would hope that they are square to each other. That’s why they’re called squares.

  24. MyNamels Nobody on August 30, 2023 at 7:15 pm

Woodpecker was specifically made for YouTube woodworkers to be used as back drops. I don’t think they are meant to be used in a real life shop setting.

  25. Rustle Shackleford on August 30, 2023 at 7:17 pm

So it’s probably smart to have both?

  26. Justin Lawlor on August 30, 2023 at 7:17 pm

The amazon one is cheaper and better ?

A double and quadruple priced square vs a quadruple priced square where you can buy a more functional square at 1/4 the price of the cheaper one. Sales for idiots.

  29. Rob Sinbob on August 30, 2023 at 7:23 pm

    Amazon for the WIN!!!

  32. James Dunlap on August 30, 2023 at 7:26 pm

Who buys a square from Amazon??? Guess there are a lot of weekend wood workers in here with some brand new Dewalt tools, which makes them qualified to comment…

  33. Nothing To Sea Here on August 30, 2023 at 7:26 pm

Amazon is about what they can get from China and make the most amount from.

  34. Bud Grower YT on August 30, 2023 at 7:28 pm

Probably made in the same factory

  35. jaco kruger on August 30, 2023 at 7:29 pm

When you get picky over what square to use, then you need help lol

  36. JustAGuy on August 30, 2023 at 7:29 pm

The fact that people pay an exorbitant amount of money for woodpeckers is ridiculous. It’s a fricking metal triangle with holes drilled in it.

  37. here to serve on August 30, 2023 at 7:29 pm

I could not find it at a Amazon (I wonder if it is just not available to us Canucks?)
    😢

  47. Smedleydog1 on August 30, 2023 at 7:42 pm

If you have a 3d printer you can print squares with whatever features you want relatively cheap and it will be accurate and pretty durable, using PETG, Poly Carbonate or even Carbon Fiber depending on your printer and setup. I have several corner squares of various sizes for clamping that I printed. They work as good as a machined, red anodized product.

  48. Grassy Noll on August 30, 2023 at 7:42 pm

Not everything is better because it’s more expensive.

  49. Luis Garza on August 30, 2023 at 7:43 pm

square to each other? aren’t all squares square to each other?

  50. Terry Thomas on August 30, 2023 at 7:43 pm

I get mine from Harbor Freight.
