Cheapest French Cleat Jigsaw Holder – Easy Build

Cheapest French Cleat Jigsaw Holder – Easy Build

Our French cleat jigsaw holder has some nice features but is still an easy and extremely cheap build. Really, you can do this with only basic tools and scrap wood. We did and we love these things.

We build two versions of the jigsaw mount: One for our Craftsman corded jigsaw and one for our Ryobi cordless jigsaw. Straight cuts and no nonsense give you a solid French cleat saw holder that will keep your jigsaws immediately available while saving wall storage space.

I also have a jig saw from the Stone Age. Going to make a mount to fit it for my clear wall. Good video thanks for posting.

What do you do with all the cases that came with your tools?

I havenโ€™t gotten on the cordless bandwagon yet, I only have a Walmart drill and impact driver that are battery operated. Iโ€™ve been wondering how to deal with cords.

I like these simple little builds. I also have a few old corded tools that come out of retirement when the cordless can’t handle the job. People need to remember that these simple little builds make life easier when you’re doing the complexed fancy projects. Thanks for the video.

I have enjoyed the french cleat builds. You have given me a new perspective on my tool holders. I also have my jigsaw flush against the wall, and like you, I have a small shop. So I have been looking at my designs and trying to shrink them. So this is my next change, thanks
