Comparing Studio Lumber To Big Box Store Wood
Comparing Studio Lumber To Big Box Store Wood
http://hollywoodhaunter.com In this vlog we go shopping for a few facade and set building materials. We also compare a couple differences between box store lumber and specific lumber store building materials. We visit one of the studio lumber supply companies and look and several things like the two types of bender board plywood vertical (column) 4′ x 8′ or the horizontal (barrel) 8′ x 4′. We also through in a couple other this with thought Haunters and prop makers may use like 1″ x 3″, lauan or luan, MDF, and sonotubes. All great stuff for building wall panels, facades, and scenery for all occasions. Thanks for watching!

great vlog guys cant wait till i can get my ass working !! HFL!!
I’m so glad to hear that Christopher .
What is this vlog filmed on? BTW I LOVE ur vlogs
Why is there not a HH logo on your box truck? Do you own that?
That box truck is screaming for a giant Hollywood Haunter logo
Btw is the box truck for hire? I just ordered 100 skeletons direct from China they will be coming on a ship!
Driving backwards down that driveway impressive.
That is SOO AWESOME!!
I wish my Home Depot had a discount bin…
That is quite a driveway and shuffling all your cars and trucks on it is bad enough, be happy you don’t have to shovel snow off of it, that would be a nightmare. I hope your new place has something more suited to your needs.
Have you ever tried a buffalo chicken pizza? These’s a place near me that makes them and they’re super tasty.
A Haunter gets to carry the Halloween spirit with them 365 days a year. That’s pretty sweet. Loved the vlog. Hope u keep them coming.🐢
I buy the 1×3 at Lowes, theirs is more like your Topanga Lumber…
Great video for us new builders. I’m actually suprised that the cost of materials is very close to what we pay in Northwest Arkansas.
Sadly we don’t have the selection that you do. We do how ever have home being built like crazy here so the crews are alway happy to give us their scrap.
We actually had a bad store blow off a newly framed roof. We got the entire roofs worth of lumber, we just had to pull nails!
great video as always. ya’ll are always so happy!! now that driveway is a "haunt" all by itself. love the dogs
That is one long-ass driveway. Entertaining video 🙂
Excellent & Informative as always… Haunted Hot Wings look Good… watching at 3:15am in Atlanta but Halloween Vlogs are timeless… Can’t wait to see the building progress and Congrats on selling your Haunted House… CHEERS ^_^
That truck was a tight squeeze. What a pain to have to move all of those vehicles.
I always check the cull lumber and the trash cans. There are very few times that I walk out of HD empty handed.
I remember you saying "crazy driver" when you rode in my Jeep! LOL
That was nice of you guys do that for Derek.
That salad looked so yummy. That is what I had for dinner, well that plus some. We had fried green tomatoes for an appetizers, then spinach salad with smoked chicken. Then coconut cake for a dessert. It was great treat.
Your old house looks great…grass!!!! I know you miss those cool neighbors.
Johnny was so funny when Chris was unloading the truck. LOL
Chris should do voices for movies. Him doing Tonka’s voice was hilarious.
I love wings & I love grilling especially with mesquite. I did a lot of grilling last year. That was how we fed our help when we had help.
Thank you for the comparison on the wood. I am going to be checking out some local lumber stores now. Did you like my book?
did somebody say wings?!?! Grilling with certain woods is awesome for flavor, I tried apple tree wood, very good. Dang it! now I’m craving wings.
Wooo hoooo….another one.
Hey guys for your haunted house were did you get your music and did you have any
Great video guys! Really helpful info on the materials. I need to try again to find a lumber place locally that has 1×3 – so tired of using the junky stuff from Home Depot. Especially after seeing the comparison. It would be so much easier to work with! 🙂
Poor doggy doesnt want to share his bed with another one. What type of project are you doing Christopher?
Reminds me of Pasadena
That bulldog needs to be in the videos way more
That pooch you’re dog sitting would make an awesome construction inspector. When Chris got into the box truck he was all over it … "where is he, what’s he doing … you aren’t supposed to do things without me". LOL He looked so relieved when Chris came back out.
