Thank you so much for this. I bought this table saw over a year ago too intimidated to put it together once I pulled it out. Your video helped tremendously.

Going to be moving out of state and my old full framed craftsman 220v is staying. Was looking at an inexpensive setup like this. Was thinking of ridgid jobsite with stand also but its $300

If I could give 100 likes, I would. Well done assembly instructions. Craftsman can do away with the 3pt font horrible instructions and include a simple QR code to this Youtube link.

Can you use dado blades on this saw?

  13. Michael Austin on February 18, 2022 at 10:55 pm

Be smarter than the stand! Holy crap that thing was kicking my butt! Thanks for the video!

  14. Robert E. Wilson on February 18, 2022 at 11:02 pm

Just a small warning. If you drop the blade nut watch out for sharp aluminum inside the dust shrouded. I dod not like the blade. So i replaced it with a thin kerf combo 50 tooth. I am in bandaids on 3 fingers from cutsfrom the aluminum dust shroud. So have a file handy for the sharp aluminum cast. On a better note. The thin kerf allows you to cut most hard wood with ease up to 1.5 inches. It never bogged down on my end grain cuttingboard work. Great table saw for the small shops.

  22. Raysa Ac. on February 18, 2022 at 11:11 pm

Thank you. Manual was not great

  23. electricfetus100 on February 18, 2022 at 11:11 pm

Do or did you have to tighten the blade before use out of the box ??

  24. Anthony Ray on February 18, 2022 at 11:11 pm

If anyone plans on using this in their shop mostly, I recommend the first things you cut are for a solid wooden stand for it. I found the legs a bit unsteady.

  25. Brian Bieler on February 18, 2022 at 11:12 pm

Great video. Didn’t waste time with unnecessary stuff but was thorough with everything important.

  26. LC Geppy on February 18, 2022 at 11:12 pm

  32. William Prepodnik on February 18, 2022 at 11:23 pm

How is the guide? Delta has a similar one for much less, but as I understand the guide is jumpy. Is this stable?

  36. d b on February 18, 2022 at 11:27 pm

Thank you for this directions that came with it were terrible.

  37. sean reed on February 18, 2022 at 11:28 pm

Would you recommend this saw? I’ve been on the fence about this since it went on sale. Some reviews say it’s bad and others say it’s good. I mainly build smaller projects with wood working.

  38. Roberta Montagnini on February 18, 2022 at 11:31 pm

Thanks! I just assembled it with your instructions.

  39. Russ Thacher on February 18, 2022 at 11:31 pm

I’ve been trying to figure out what table saw to get for almost a year now. I’ve always been a craftsman guy so I’ve had my eyes on this same but just haven’t been sure about it. After actually seeing it today at Lowes and watching this video, I think I’m sold on getting it. The price is right for me right now and you’ve answered my questions I’ve had about setup (I keep seeing people say setup is tough because of the instructions). Greta video and thanks.

  40. Chris Motteler on February 18, 2022 at 11:33 pm

    Thanks! Directions were right on!

  42. Ingrid Helton on February 18, 2022 at 11:34 pm

The blade guard fell off somehow and my husband had a hard time figuring how to reattach it. We had no one to call on a Saturday and he was at the job site. So I found this video and at 4:05 minutes it explained and showed exactly how to remount the blade guard. We are so grateful for this video. He had only used his new saw a few times and this saved the day.
