DIY Block Plane Chamfer Jig | FAIL!
I set out to make a chamfer jig for my block plane. It was not a success. Oh well. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

It always happens when your almost done. Never in the first five minutes.
Still good content, thanks.
Well, shite. Impressed there was no violence to follow 💩👿
Don’t worry about it , ce la vie pal , try again , well done and i love your work with hand tools 👍
WOOD GLUE! It fixes all my failures! Make On Brother!
Shit happens… no stress!!
Great to watch someone who works with hand tools
Failure is the best teacher, even though it hurts sometime but this is how we gain experience! If I finished a project without making any mistakes I start questioning my self! What did I learn? And that what makes me worried the most! No pain no gain mate! thank you for publishing this!great lesson indeed 🤝
Your videos are my favorite in the maker/woodworking realm, simple videos documenting work and learning with hand tools. Inspirational to watch, makes me want to run out to my shop every time I watch one.
Feel for you, man.
🥰❤️
Haha ouch, I felt that… ‘what have I done?’ moment. Thanks for sharing this 🙂
Im a beginning woodworking and most of my mistakes come from going too fast. Just yesterday I had one plane stroke left to go on a piece and – not paying sufficient attention, I put it in the vice the wrong way around and planed right against the grain on my finished face side 🙈 makes your heart sink. Luckily a lot can be fixed..
No mistakes, only happy accidents?
Man I know exactly that feeling! I tend to curse a bit more when I do it though
