DIY Knob for Stanley Block Plane

I have a Stanley 220 block plane that has a cheap plastic knob (I did a video on it).
I turned a knob out of mahogany, using my drill press as a lathe, and used a steel threaded insert to cut the the threads.
With a copper ferrule, it came out handsome.

It turned out great. I hope you are getting a lathe soon and starting turning more things.
What ize threaded insert did you use as a tap?
