DIY Mobile Workbench with Table Saw & Router Table / Ep 1
DIY Mobile Workbench with Table Saw & Router Table / Ep 1
This is the first video in a five-part series where I’ll show you how to build a robust and versatile woodworking bench to which I’ll also attach my new bench table saw and a router table.
I’m going to install two folding tables to save space when I’m not using my bench, as well as to have more space to work when necessary. I’ll also make a sliding carriage for more accurate and comfortable crosscuts.

which DeWalt saw is it in the video?
I would like to support your channel with the purchase of the plans for your Mobile Workstation, but I live in the United States. Do you know of a way that I can pay for them in US Dollars?
Hi, I was wondering if you use a brad nailer for your glue up work or 23g pin nailer? Thanks
this is a beautiful workbench , however its in metric i prefer inches/feet, and the plans are somewhat complex for beginer like me, i did purchase the plans im just trying to figure them out as it stand, still looking for the cut list
Amazing!
This is BY FAR the coolest, most intricate piece I’ve seen for table saw workbenches!
Absolutely love it, going to purchase the plans. The $25 is well worth it! The amount of work you put into this is mind blowing! Cheers from South Dakota.
VERY nice set! who sels these weels? easy to level the whole set!!
Just purchased your plans. Baltic Birch is so expensive right now. Considering making it out of an engineered product like MDF instead. Will it hold up?
What kind of plywood have you use?
Est-ce possible d’avoir les dimensions de la table de travail
Ive recently purchased these designs, and have come across many, errors in the drawings. Measurements that do not make the design work. Ive wasted some wood, by not catching the inaccuracies. But, with a little bit of time, i was able to make most of it work so far. Its coming along, and look forward to using it.
Those F clamps look solid. What brand are they?
Thank you so much for sharing this!
Where do i get the planes for the workbench and router table in english?
I subbed to your channel after being linked in a comment from another video WITHOUT EVEN VIEWING A VIDEO. Just the channel list alone let me know you’re worth the sub. Rare comment, but I can tell your content is worth the accolade.
I cannot WAIT to dive into this series and the other fine videos on this site.
insanely good
jeez man!!! That’s quite the impressive workbench. I’m 100% going to make it. Only way you could’ve made it better would’ve been to use imperial 😉 (I know, metric IS superior to imperial, I just live in a country that uses imperial for construction)
may i ask you how much you spent only for the wood??? only for the plywood 18 mm I would spend about euro 360,00. 😱
Given that, for whatever reason, episode 8 of this build was the first video shown in my recommendations, I had no problem skipping ahead briefly to that video to confirm that he did in fact install all six wheels. That’s comforting, because I can tell at a glance just from the sheer amount of weight and stress that this table is going to go through that it’s necessary.
This guy doesn’t seem like the kind of person to cut corners. Trying to save a few bucks on two other wheels for a several thousand-dollar table is tantamount to buying a $1000 smartphone and not spending $50 – $100 on a shockproof case.
Now that I have confirmed that he absolutely knows what he’s doing, I can enjoy the rest of the series.
Approximately how many 4×8 sheets of plywood does this project require.
Excellent work, possibility to donate the project to a Brazilian follower?😊
how do I buy the plans in US dollars?? look cook
Hi mate. Thanks for video and will buy the plan when the time comes. By far the best instruction video of this kind on youtube.
A question please. Does it need to clamp the glueed pieces after nailing together when making legs and frame?
Hi John, you are talking of plywood and hard plywood in your plans. What is the difference ? I am German. Is there also a complete list of the parts / tools in the plans ?
I like this project, first I have to order the Saw. Is it a Dewalt 7492 ?
Love the glue up over a fancy rug….;)

SHOW SHOW SHOW
Hi, What weight does the finished workbench?
God level !
top of the galaxies, unparalleled, incredible, spectacular, the best project I’ve ever seen in my life!! I’m Brazilian my brother, your intelligence has me hallucinating, really amazing project!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
The video and the plans are amazing. I wonder whether I can replace the plywood with something else, e.g., MDF or solid wood.
Can somebody please tell me how many 18mm, 15mm, and 9mm plywoods were used for this whole project?
Can you tell me the dimmensions of this table?
The plans I bought for the Combination Workbench had a Layout Piece list that begins with Piece 1 thru Piece 30. It then omits Pieces 31 thru 33 before continuing. I had figured those piece #’s were omitted from the list for a reason.
Could/would someone explain those omissions to me since I have just recently come across another/different Piece List that includes Pieces 32 thru 33…with Piece 31 still omitted. Also, the newest List ends with seven more Pieces: Pieces S1 thru S3 and Pieces F1 thru F4.
The pathway to the new/newer file is: Mobile Workbench Plans File / Mobile Workbench / Cutting List-Fasteners / Maxcut / Workbench + Router Fence + Sled / Workbench + Router Fence + Sled pdf.
Do I need to be concerned with this new list or is everything from my purchased download file correct and complete enough to build the bench?
That is a great looking functional and genius workbench and I’ll build it without answers to my questions.
Awesome project. I’d love to build something like this but I need a longer design (vs. this wide layout). How did you model the table saw? Did you build that in Fusion or get it from another source?
In one word, Excellent! I am interested in purchasing the plans. Please forgive my ignorance, but the currency on your website is set to euros, I’m in the US (Puerto Rico) and have never ordered anything from EU. Will it allow me to change the currency or does it adjust based on my location? Looking forward to hearing from you. Be well and Happy New Year.
What nails do you use?
ΜΠΡΑΒΟ!!!!!!!
Congratulations to your table saw. Very good job. What’s the type of the saw (7485 or 7492)? Thanks
Amazing design, it’s definitely on my to-do list.
I love this design, though it’s a little bit too wide for my space. Do you think it would be possible to simply omit the router table section, or would that compromise the structure?
Hey u bought your plan for this project and the Modulare workbench. I also have a Dewalt 7492 but I just want a fix table on the left and the right. No. Ovine parts and no router. Can I just build the router side on both sides and leave the router hole away. Would that work? Kind regards.
Can I get the plans in customary units of measurements?
how thick is the plywood? On the plans it looks like 1"?
Tried to buy these plans but had problems when I got to checkout. Any suggestions on buying in US?
What is the easiest way to cut the pieces for frame? circular saw with guide or table saw?
