DIY Table Saw Extension Wing

DIY Table Saw Extension Wing

DIY Table Saw Extension Wing. This DIY table saw extension wing has an aluminum frame that I braze welded in a previous video. This do it yourself table saw extension turned out great! I have been wanting to extend my table saw cutting capacity for a long time and even though my Delta Shop Master table saw is nearly twenty years old, this thing works as good as the day I bought it so it made sense to make this wing extension.

I made my table saw wing extension using 1 1/2 aluminum angle 1/8″. I bought a 96″ piece for about $40 and the 1/4″ MDF I used for the top was $9. I already had the rivets, hinge, bolts and screws. This project came in at around $50.

The tap & die set that I have is a 60pc from Harbor Freight that runs about $40 but can go on sale. I am pleased over all with this set.

Thanks for this, subscribed. Would you take a peek at the Rigid 4518 compact 10” if you have time and possibly tell me what I could do for loose rear rail that causes built on extension table to sag? There’s nothing half of entire rail to keep it from rocking up and down. Thanks!!
