DIY Table Saw Sliding Carriage / Mobile Workbench EP 2

DIY Table Saw Sliding Carriage / Mobile Workbench EP 2

This is the second in a series of five videos about my new woodworking bench with a table saw and router table.
I’m going to show you how I built this sliding carriage to make crosscuts in a more comfortable and precise way with a table saw.

    How much is the price?

  6. Grant Oakes on July 3, 2023 at 2:04 pm

Chess masters try to think ahead 3, maybe 4 moves, but you have thought all the way to 10! Your forethought with the support built into the drawer for the carriage being able to cut much wider cross cuts!

  7. Ken Westphalen on July 3, 2023 at 2:05 pm

Can you let me know where you got all your fences? Or is that information in the plans?

  8. Adriano Cariati on July 3, 2023 at 2:05 pm

Amazing and beautiful, could I ask a question, how did you manage to level the slide platform using folding brackets? How did you make adjustment? For example one side is a bit tilted over the other side. Thanks 🙏

  19. Brendon Moore on July 3, 2023 at 2:15 pm

I love this bench! It’s the perfect job-site saw support. I have one question thought- where do you store the carriage fence when you’re not using it? Does it have a spot on the bench or do you have to store it somewhere else in your shop? Thanks for the great content and plans!

  20. Cedric Voglet on July 3, 2023 at 2:16 pm

This workbench’s so well thought! I just discovered your channel and I can’t thank you enough :), I’m really gonna go build this!
Do you think it’s doable without a drill press or do the holes require absolute perfection ? 😅

  21. Chengcheng Yao on July 3, 2023 at 2:20 pm

Great piece of tool and m furniture! I am new here. How can I find hard and soft plywood in US?

  29. Mariano _ on July 3, 2023 at 2:28 pm

Gracias! Sigue así de ingenioso, claro y metódico

  36. Kaushik Reja on July 3, 2023 at 2:38 pm

These are not useful for real carpenters..only for youtuber fake….you cannot cut pices from 8’x4′ plywood r boards into pieces perfectly. You need a larger table for that. It’s child’s play what you have

  37. Adam Pappas on July 3, 2023 at 2:38 pm

Where did you purchase your parts for the sliding carriage?

  38. Thomas D on July 3, 2023 at 2:39 pm

  45. Tom Breuel on July 3, 2023 at 2:50 pm

What and where did he source that Melamine Product from for the tops?

  46. Leslie Hobgood on July 3, 2023 at 2:51 pm

I really like your work station. I’ve downloaded your plans, yet your instructions are…a bit confusing. However, I haven’t lost hope. Hopefully I can find away to pare the pieces properly from the cut list.

  47. Mike M on July 3, 2023 at 2:55 pm

My only criticism is that you are relying on the frame of the trolley to keep the slides parallel to the blade. Moving the trolley is likely to flex the frame and alter this critical alignment.

  48. Laura C on July 3, 2023 at 2:56 pm

    excellent

  49. Nate Bean on July 3, 2023 at 2:56 pm
