Easiest DIY Woodworking Gift Idea | 40 Candle Holders from a Single 2×4
Easiest DIY Woodworking Gift Idea | 40 Candle Holders from a Single 2×4
In this DIY video, I’ll show you how to make 40 individual candle holders out of only a single 2×4 stud. This is a very cheap and simple woodworking project to help you make gifts for all of your family and friends without a lot of effort. I made all of these candle holders in just a few hours, and they make great Christmas gifts and stocking stuffers! You can make these with only a table saw and a hand drill.

I got the idea for this design from DIY Montreal, but redesigned it so multiples could be more easily made all at the same time. Here is a link to her video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9l7J2UtUu1g

this looks fun. now, to convince my wallet that I need a planer!
Great work David. Do you have any suggestions on how to make the slot for the match box without a table saw?
I just need 20k worth of tools. Wow, easy
Now that is a brilliant little idea!π‘ππ
What happened to ur saw?
Good video. Well done! Thank you for putting your video on YouTube.
Awesome work on all your builds, I love the video format as is. I have a question, where do you get you get your branding irons? I’ve seen you use a few on your channel.
Im from switzerland and damn your machines are so small and unsafe if compared to our standards… LOVE ITπ
Nice video but I’m more impressed with the compact workshop, fantastic!
3:54 Did you forget to turn on the suction?
the trick I have been using is bungy the shop vac hose to the drill press post, get some adjustability to get it where you need it and because it is above the foster bit as the shavings eject they somewhat get sucked into the shop vac.
It’s not easy if you don’t have the equipment.
Great video, but be carefull with wood and candles.
A similar project of mine once caught fire, because the metal part of the candle got too hot.

Nice
I like how you casually demonstrate your awesome and totally unexpected miter saw to planer flip top convertible station without even mentioning it in passing π€£
If the saw overheats it should indicate as much with a specific green and red light pattern on the control box that you can look up in the manual.
Ok
very well done, easy to follow tutorial. Awesome stuff. Subscribed.
