I prefer an explanation and details of the build at the beginning and a quit build taking the new builder through all of the steps. Lighting, you need more lighting. Keep up the great work.

My dude, this video is an exponential improvement upon the last one I watched (a little while ago). I like the voice over style with good music during the pauses. But then again an ASMR vid with just tool sounds is pretty cool sometimes too lol. Definitely keep the sense of humor. Realized today that I hadn’t subscribed. Glad the Almighty Algorithm recommended you again. Keep it goin 👍

  3. Chuck Falgout on June 9, 2023 at 12:42 pm

I prefer the 2nd method, but enjoyed all three. I’m going to build some hexagon shelves this weekend, so may have to try the basket with the off cuts I have left.

  4. Thomas Mays on June 9, 2023 at 12:44 pm

    I prefer the 2nd style

  5. Jacob Pazitka on June 9, 2023 at 12:45 pm

Voiceover is good, but that jam was great. Maybe a combo there

  6. Sci Stuff on June 9, 2023 at 12:45 pm

It’s nice to see that I’m not the only one who uses their mouth to hold screws and nails. Never tried them with salt though… Hmm. Good stuff as aways and Thank You! Please keep using all three styles of video. Keeps it fresh.

  7. fredg451 on June 9, 2023 at 12:46 pm

what type of owl would use that to build in?

  8. Pappy Thomas on June 9, 2023 at 12:47 pm

Much prefer the talk over while watching you do your work. Kill the music – it’s not necessary and distracting.

  9. Anubin on June 9, 2023 at 12:47 pm

I’m a fan of a mixture of the types. Definitely voice over when there is a gotcha kind of step.

  10. Mark Gaither on June 9, 2023 at 12:49 pm

I really like your videos but when you talk the volume is low then the music comes in blaring loud

  11. gsilcoful on June 9, 2023 at 12:49 pm

    Thanks!

  12. Borescoped on June 9, 2023 at 12:51 pm

I like the voice over style the best. Also, perhaps you could adjust down the music volume some? And as a suggestion for the lighting, swing by a big box store and pick up a few of those inexpensive clamp work lights and some good daylight LED bulbs to brighten up the workspace some, maybe even some of those light diffusers you see photographers use if they aren’t too busy expensive.

  13. Elise Yoder on June 9, 2023 at 12:52 pm

I like the 2nd style build!!

  14. SneakyHippo on June 9, 2023 at 12:53 pm

I love 1 & 2 as they are more informative. Either I’m loving the fact of your channel growing and your progress. Keep it up and God bless you and your family!

  15. Peter Mealey on June 9, 2023 at 12:56 pm

I do very much prefer the voice over, not least of all because I find you incredibly entertaining and funny. I love the tips you give, like the jointing tip. The accent is great as well, so greetings from beautiful New Zealand

  16. Craig fix that on June 9, 2023 at 12:56 pm

I like when the videos are very detailed on how to do even down to how to get all the cuts done

  17. Barry Halstead on June 9, 2023 at 1:00 pm

Love the videos. Been a subscriber for awhile on your channel. Where you from? I’m from West Virginia. Trying to get my feet wet and make some money from woodworking. Can’t work single dad of 4 kids I need some kinda income. Your videos have helped me a lot. Thanks for all you do. I for one appreciate your work

  18. Ken Tucker on June 9, 2023 at 1:01 pm

I like videos where you explain what you are doing and how you are doing it.

  19. Valhalla Maker on June 9, 2023 at 1:02 pm

  21. chr0540 on June 9, 2023 at 1:02 pm

2nd method is my preferred, but I enjoy the tips and techniques from all of your videos.

  22. William Metzger on June 9, 2023 at 1:04 pm

I don’t like 3 the other 2 are both fine thanks for the videos

  23. Brian Rhoades on June 9, 2023 at 1:07 pm

In my case i don’t mind either way. but it also depends on what info i might be looking for that will base my wants on.

  24. fredg451 on June 9, 2023 at 1:07 pm

I like the 2nd style best I think, but actually like them all

  25. amber porta on June 9, 2023 at 1:13 pm

Prefer the "owl style " voice over. Also, whatchu mean IF your wife gets ahold of the basket? 😅❤

  26. bohica snafu on June 9, 2023 at 1:13 pm

i hate those un-salted screws. lol. Can you suggest a good 10" blade that is flush cut?

Hi algorithm. This is a comment.

  32. Shon Scott on June 9, 2023 at 1:17 pm

Great video!! I love the owl house, I’d put a little quarter moon on the side 🙂 ha. I, like some others like the voice over style. Shoot the video and voice it over as you go. Of course, I also lean towards do what is easier for you and gets the quality where you want it. Grow with your channel. Great content as always!!!

  33. Valhalla Maker on June 9, 2023 at 1:20 pm

The second one is my favorite

  34. Lee Rolls on June 9, 2023 at 1:21 pm

I liked the 3rd option the best, but it would be more informative and helpful if there was more of what/why you’re doing something with it. I’m re-subscribing to give you another chance . I’m personally not a fan of the goofy stuff (unsalted screws?). I just feel that it’s unnecessary and distracts from quality content. You do very good work in what looks like a tiny environment, and the non goofy parts are very helpful to someone like me who is just starting to get better and a lot more serious about making these projects. Keep up the good work, and rely on your skills to keep us entertained. It’ll save on cleaning up at the very least. Just my opinion, others will probably disagree.

  35. Michael Willson on June 9, 2023 at 1:22 pm

Nice video dude a prefer the commentary weather it be throught the build or voiceover the build but either way I’m still here Al still watch. They look good. Nice wee project as u say days build nice. Listen shoot me an email got big custom job am working on I’ll talk u about. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👍😲

  38. David Wilson on June 9, 2023 at 1:27 pm

I like anything without background music.

  39. Ellen Mcgrath on June 9, 2023 at 1:29 pm

I like it better when you explain what you are doing as you go along.

  40. Tom Stone on June 9, 2023 at 1:30 pm

Been woodworking for a few years. Nice to see you doing build videos instead of all these short little clips

  44. Eric Simpson on June 9, 2023 at 1:34 pm

Voice over, humour, mistake done along the way are all go to for me. The third one was my least favorite

  45. Manny Oropeza on June 9, 2023 at 1:34 pm

I think all three have its time, place, or need on builds…. But you and your personality is what makes great videos… keep up the great work and videos
