Nice and rustic! I love it!
That planer does a good job for a 120-volt unit even though it was maxed out for width. That was the perfect slab for this project. You’ll need to make two more. One for your new house and one for the houseboat. π
Nice coat Rack π what kind of oil did you put on it? And I liked the holly shit hiya with the planer they are heavy π
Lovely job Alexis. You just let the natural beauty of the wood do itβs job and it turned out beautiful.
Great seeing you all back out love seeing your videos from Detroit Michigan
That is a beautiful piece of Maple!
Nice work.
Great video, you are a very talented lady.
Thanks for sharing!
Good work, well done, thank you for sharing!
Wow that turned out great!!!!!!! So easy too!
Concerning clogs Careena, dislike seeing you get lax and get hurt when foot wear is so important. Seeing a disregard for personal safety among too many wearing senseless clogs or flipflops that do nothing to protect one’s feet
Thatβs beautiful gives me a idea for a peace of black walnut slabs I have. But it thatβs very great work!
Charming live edge coat rack, looks like home.
Live Edge Projects are so cool! You seem to enjoy woodworking. Will you be building a woodworking shop someday? With your sawmill it could become another source of income.
Nice! ππ»
Very beautiful coat rack that mineral oil really made that piece great job Careena great video as always stay safe
Beautiful wall rack. Careena what an awesome job you did! ππCheryl & Dixie GA πΊπΈ
Digging the product placement for Canadian Tire gear. We have a couple pairs of those folding sawhorses. They sure come in handy. What part of the great white north do you folks hail from? Southern Ontario for us.
Awesome
So disappointed that you wore clogs, such senseless "footwear" anytime, especially working.
thanks for sharing love the video.Branden hows the thumb?
Great video. The board turned out looking great. Y’all take care and have a blessed day and I’ll see you on your next video.
Awesome
Perfect! The old wood can be seen by all and its legacy is intact thru aesthetics. You guys did a great job. Careena you never cease to amaze me. Glad to see you guys working together to repurpose really old timber.
The most satisfying part of working with wood for me is adding the oil and seeing the grain pop. Man that piece looks beautiful!
coolπππππππ―π―π―
Very Nicely Done, Y’all!
That looks so good, great job, thanks for sharing with us, take care and stay safe π π.
Great video I love the wood work you did it look great β€ππ
? $ Do you ship to the US ? LOVE IT !!!
That’s very cool, and you only added mineral oil to it, looks really nice
I liked the 8/4 live edge slab , bit unfortunate about the funny looking chocolate milk spalting on the lower portion – did it run all the
way through to the other side ? and are the cool looking coat hooks from Lee Valley ? ( I think that’s where I’ve seen them before ?)
Cheers π
Northern Canadian Girls, gotta love em…My wife says "you better be talking about me and not her!, lmao
Nice project
Needs some bear fat or linseed oil to ring out the grain and preserve it.
Wicked kool β€
Shout out to my love who helped me out with this project too, I’m learning things as I go so he’s guides me on these little projects I have (because he literally knows how to do everything lol) Thanks for watching!
Sometimes the simplest projects are the the coolest!! Nice work you two!!
Hello @TimberMates;

5. All of the above = pretty awesome
Thanks for sharing.
Awesome job, looks great!
That really turned out niceπ
I have a local sawmill that does all exotic lumber. I went up and got a nice piece of Jamaican wood off them for a coat rack. This was before live edge so i couldnt make it live. But it still turned out great and still in use today.
Looks good. It would take me a couple hours. Hahah
Love it. Nicely done ππ»ππ»
Dang, I’m impressed you were able to lift that planer! I know a lot of guys who wouldn’t be able to get that off the ground.
Beautiful project. You both are creating some great content with both of your channels.
But, Safety Sammy here, PLEASE wear a good respirator mask when sanding, even outdoors. That sanding dust is very damaging to your lungs.
Love it
Our favourite wood worker . Great use of live edge lumber .
