Hi, Thank you for the awesome tips and hints, they were really
helpful. I was wondering if you have heard of this woodworking program before? https://sawdust-addict.com/woodworking-hacks-you-wont-believe/?affid=dealsflow It looks like a great program to help people start with woodworking.
I was just looking into some options before I make my decision.
Cheers, keep up with the great work ๐
Good idea for using the U-shaped design 2:59
This is exactly what I needed, props to you. Yes, it does need a ton of work to be a full โWoodworking Bibleโ, but Woody Hyezmarโs book is still in draft status and available for all to download.
Soooo the entire thing is supported by the top shelf, which is only attached with 2 screws on each end and no actual wood contact…. You know that is horrible design right? You are using just the sheer strength of the screws to hold everything. Ok for lightweight, but this is hazardous and teaching bad practices.
Nice shelves! Unfortunately, I think I can buy shelves for less $ than those three power tools.
I made it with Woodglut plans!
I want to do this
But I am afraid that I will not do this
I want you to help me
Nice

A great variety of designs is on the Woodglut website.
Looks great. My next project!
Great video! I just made a floating shelf for my succulents!
Woodglut has very good and accurate plans.
I learned some great tips from this video! These tips are AMAZING!!! Great work! Thanks for sharing your projects!
good one..congrats,,…
Is that a jagua tattoo?
Tanks for sharing.. simple and awsome
TOO MUCH ADVERTISING!! BLOCK HIM
I have a problem with all these "beginner projects". All of you have tons of power tools. I have a hammer, screwdrivers, stuff like that. I don’t know how people think "beginners" are going to fork out hundreds of dollars for these tools in the 1st place. You are really not a beginner at that point if you have all these tools…
Somebody needs to make a video about woodworking terminology, because those are not floating shelves.
It’s that simple, just go to the Woodglut website and enter the world of woodworkers.
Hi, man…thank you for sharing…easy, simple and very cool…๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
Has anyone built this one yet? Iโm looking to do something similar where itโs just 3-4 book shelves fastened to the wall studs. Didnโt want legs making contact w/the floor.
I didn`t plan to use this woodworking book, โBฮฑzฮฟmฮฟ Tdy Plฮฑnโ (Google it) but instead curious about it. I was truly impressed after trying it. I was trying to find out more about the art of wood working, and was not disappointed. I found many topics such as wood types as well as designing your workshop. .
I’m only a few seconds in but I loved the way you just started the video by showing what power tools you need to do this project. I’ve watched so many videos now that casually expect you to have a huge workshop full of expensive tools rather than an old boiler cupboard and a foldable workbench like most DIYers who fancy having a go at woodwork.

Maker brand ruined my shelf is bad stuff
Really๐for beginner?
Can anybody tell me how 4×4 are? Are they just 4 inches x 4 inches or what
Nice creation, like your video! ๐
Are these treated 2 x 6 cedar? In my Canadian Home Depot, there is mostly treated cedar for decks.
Dude you have so much follower from europe and all over the worl, why can’t you post the sizes also in the metric system?
You could also using the same tools, make a face frame to cover the joints.
Love it!
any suggestions on suitable timber for this?
Love it.

ok carpentar for 30 years. This is a great beginner project and well illustrated. One critique. You don’t need to use 2×6 for the shelves, a 3/4 inch board will work. Also, that sucker is heavy and would be better on the floor. Glue wooden pulls ( drawer knobs for you beginners) as feet to jazz it up.
Why haven’t you used dowels instead of making extra through holes?
Nice and clean ๐

My man! Thank you for this video! I was legit about to spend a small fortune buying the brackets for wall mounted shelves. Not anymore….. this will save me a ton so thank you once again! 4:46
Man, I freaking love your channel. So many cool projects… Thanks so much for the inspiration!

Nice, really simple and straight forward! Looks sharp!
