Going to make today 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
🥰
That table would cost 300.00 to make today*
Would have been a great video minus the super loud terrible music!
Also what kind of square is that you are using?
Music Sucks..
I think I can make that!
Had to leave the video because of the music so left a downvote
What music? All I see is a guy making a work bench and all I hear is the sound of tools running
Needed something to fit my budget and the amount of lumber I already have for a miter saw station and this is perfect.
Wow, changed days from when this was made a few years ago. Just placed (only) the wood in my cart on HomeDepot, quoting me $212.21, $70 more than to buy a same size wood/metal Husky one (much as I’d like to make my own).
Just what I was looking for! 🙏🏽👍🏽💃🏽
5:28 as the board comes of the table saw and hits the edge of the plywood…perrrfect !
Hi Matt, I just saw your work bench video and loved it! Would it be to much to ask for wood type and measurements plz?
Thank you
50$ 5 years ago 405$ today 🤣🤑🤪🤮
And not anymore a sheet of plywood by itself is $65 now
Why would you predrill those holes lmfao
Turn your music down or speak louder
Hard to understand you with the music so loud
music is too loud and annoying.
Amazing job!! Hey, Am from Family Handyman and we are very interested in your video and want to share it on our brands. Please share your email address or any social media handle where we can share the information with you. Thank you.
The only thing I want to know is, and yes I realize that this is a entry level bench, how is it holding up after 5 years… I am poretty sure I know trhe answer but I am hopeful that you will give and honest assessment For all of those new to wood crafting. ( I personally already know how this type of constructed "Bench" has or rather hasn’t help up)
Perfect!
Me and my boy watched this!! Haha. Good build man. Thanks for the video.
It’s not under $50 anymore lol
Nice, thanks! What wood are the legs?
Too much damn music. I wanted to watch this video.
Thanks for this I’ve been looking for a simple beginner workbench build. I’ll probably add some supports on the bottom frame and screw another Piece of plywood cause I could use some extra storage space underneath and I’ll probably add some casters too. But great build and good idea making it level with the table saw I’ll probably do the same
Can tell this video is old. The sheet would cost more than 50$ rn
Thanks Matt! I am a creator as well and needed to build 2 simple workbenches for my glass panel projects and this was simple and cheap to make with the tools I had. Although this video is from 2017 it is still adding value.
Fkn gay music
Too loud music
Those 2017 timber prices
Great video! I am just confused as to how much 2×4’s to buy. The material list indicates 8 of them but the cut list shows 12 cuts.
The table works great! Thanks. Here’s how I got away with using six 2x4s:
Cut list (added last entry to complete the list):
– plywood rip to 2’9" x 5′
– 4 2×4 @ 34"
– 2 2×4 @ 2’9"
– 2 2×4 @ 57"
– 2 2×4 @ 27"
– 2 2×4 @ 54"
– 2 2×4 @ 30" to support the top from the inside.
Cutting Procedure:
I got away with six 2x4s, cutting the 34" segments from the same piece, then using the middle segment to cut another inch off and make the 27" cut. Repeat with another 2×4 to end up with 4 2×4 @34" and 2 2×4 @ 27". Cut the 2’9" and 57" from same board, discard middle, then repeat to end up with 2 2×4 @ 57" and 2 2×4 @ 2’9". Cut your 54" and 30" from the same 2×4, discard the middle, then repeat to get 2 2×4 @ 54" and 2 2×4 @ 30". Install the 30" segments 20 inches from either side. Hope others find this helpful! Great video!
Wait this isn’t animal crossing 😃
Seeing how cheap lumber was back then just makes me go insane. 🤦♂️ 😤
LMAO!!! This is first time I’ve seen this video, and this is EXACTLY how I built my 2 workbenches. Even down to the countersink issue =D
I’ll tell you what, anyone watching Matts video, this is the way to go!! You will get a workbench that is super sturdy, very stable and even more so if you use 3/4" for the top.
Great vid Matt!
Cost me right at $100 which is fine with today’s prices.
Thank you for the demonstration I wish the music was not on It would make it easier to hear when you’re talking
How many screws and what pattern do you screw the screws into the legs to the top frame ? 2 or 3 screws ?
Why do you thing the music is ok? If you happen to be saying something important while the music hits a high note I, a 71 year old with partial hearing loss, don’t hear what you said.
Wish it was this cheap now !
Price went up to 300 thanks to our idiot running things… don’t give me that covid crap either
Ok exactly why was the music necessary?
This must not be in California a sheet of plywood is more then 50 bucks
Plus I hate that type of music
The simplest, I can follow along easily…thank uuuuuuuu!!!!!!!!
I’m not sure what I’m doing
