EASY Outfeed Rollers | Woodworking Shop Project
EASY Outfeed Rollers | Woodworking Shop Project
How to make simple but efficient outfeed rollers from very inexpensive materials, found at the hardware store. A great solution to pair with almost any large tool, like a miter saw or table saw. Makes cutting and milling materials like wood much safer and easier.

Subbed here when you built the table the out feed table will be something I will be making for my shop thank you for the idea as well as a plan. Keep up the great videos. Can’t wait to see some of your projects
Love this! The only thing I would do differently is use a Forstner bit the same size as the dowel in the side rails to ensure they fit perfectly in line and don’t shift when I drive the screws in off center (which I inevitably would)
Complete and utter noob, here…. what was the blue tool you’ve used to trace the lines onto the side boards? (1min 09sec…) and the centre punch tool from rockler?
Good idea but if you have trouble with them rolling smoothly try 1-1/2" steel pipe with 1-3/8" OD wheel bearings inside the pipe.
So simple, yes highly efficient. I love this idea.

This was very helpful for how to build a diy rolller and great craftsmenship on the flip table. Thank you for this making such useful content.
Great idea. Hope you donβt mind me using the concept. Thanks
Most useful thing I ever built from leftovers!
They don’t seem to roll at all.
Hello!
It could be your sister))

Nice Job an nice π
The idea seems simple enough. I like it. But it may have been stronger and easier to assemble by using a Forstner bit to make holes for the dowels in the support pieces. A template with a guide that slides against the top and a hole would allow for consistent hole spacing. That being said, I have the same planer and will likely build something similar in the near future. Thank you for sharing.
great idea! Hey whats the tool you used to find the center of the dowels for drilling the holes? Never seen that one before.
Nice idea, how do you like your planer and how do you deal with the snipe?
i love it great job , thank god for the youtube i thought i was the only nutty gal that loves wood working and power toolsπyou need to start looking for a drill press i think
Health and further success in your creations! I really like your ideas.
Good idea I really like this table
I’m a new subscriber, and I’m enjoying your channel. The projects that you present are practical and not overwhelming. This out feed roller solution is great…simple and effective. Thanks for posting.
That is a very clever solution! In line with your flip-top concept you could mount the roller assembly on heavy duty hinges on the side of the table (you would probably need to re-dimension the roller assembly a little) so it can be flipped over the side when not needed, and easily flipped back in place when needed. This will also free up some table surface which is always useful in the workshop.
Subbed here and liked!!! Loved the roller outfeed! I’ll be building this for my chop saw station!!!
Nice work
Nice idea! No lubrication needed.
Excellent, congratulations
Just amazing design. Take a bow
awesome clever build!
Great idea!
Really enjoy watching your channel grow! You do awesome work with only basic equipment unlike a lot of those bigger channels!
i need that flip top workbench in my life
πππππππ many tumbssss up π
simply amazing, done registration and active bell. Visit my new channel ALEXANDER GUSMΓO – DIY
awesome idea and very simple. love it even more that you provided free plans, unlike others that charge a fee. automatic subbed to the channel. look forward to seeing more vids. thank you
Super simple idea that’s incredibly useful. Well done! I might have to make a pair of these!

Thank you for the video. I will be making this to use with my planer when I finish the double sided workbench..
The best part is that you get the simple rolling mechanism without any need for ballbearings. Exactly what I need for my project
Thank you for your channel amd amazing, inspiring videos. I have a great range of power tools (from my father-in-law and some 18v battery ones I’ve bought) and I’m starting out VERY slowly. Its videos like yours, showing how to make some of your own cool jigs & things for the workshop that makes me want to give it a shot. So, thank you, and keep up the great work.
Wow!!! I love it… thank you… enjoy your projects and your expertise….
Really cool idea, sure I’m adding it to my to-do list. Subbed and liked. Cheers.
Like someone already pointed out, the PVC pipes aren’t rolling, which can be seen on the red writing on them which stays in place. The idea is nice though, might just need some fine tuning.
Excellent idea! A little advice from one who has been doing the, "wood-worker-putter-together" thing for quite a while….I noticed that you had no dust filtration system in place and not even a mask on…..PLEASE do yourself a HUGE favour. You are a VERY beautiful lady, those dust particles can and will do serious damage to your lungs over time, I would hate to see you making videos with a oxygen mask strapped to your face because you were diagnosed with lung cancer. Finger, hands, eyes and ears…and don’t forget LUNGS. Keep up the awesome video!!
Very interesting build. Now Iβll go back and watch the double flip top bench build.
πππI’ve seen quite a few videos….your the first to build a roller outfeed for a planer.
These rollers are simple, but very effective! I think I’ll make some for myself. Thanks!!!
Great idea! Think I will use it! Thank you.
SuperNice
That’s awesome!
So clever! Great job!
